warm and comfortable

These hug my feet and have extra padding in all of the places needed to make these great for long walks and hikes

I purchased these for my wife, so I could get mine back. She walks dogs and needless to say we have had some cold mornings. She loves the socks, keeps her feet warm and comfortable. I used the men's version on 42 miles of the AT this last summer and again, love the product and use them for all my hiking. I highly recommend the product.

Don't hesitate to buy these socks if cold weather is in your future

A good fitting sock that I use for outdoor working. This mid calf stay put and feels good on my feet and isn't overly thick inside boots.

These are really nice, comfortable socks. I was worried they would shrink in the washer and dryer, but they came out just fine. They look nice too. My only criticism would be the "ankle support" where the material/stitching is thinner. I don't believe for a second that any sock is genuinely going to provide significant support, so I would prefer more padding in this area. Don't get me wrong - the socks are great - I just think they could be even better without this gimmick.

Forget awesome sauce. These are awesome socks! Kept me warm and dry. These socks performed exactly the way I had hoped.

From chilly mornings in camp to long days in waders and floatplanes, these socks will perform. They will wick moisture and keep you comfortable. They are great for multiple purposes which makes them a must if space is at a premium.

When I ordered these socks I only ordered one pair because I wanted to be sure they fit properly and worked well with my current hiking boots. I am extremely satisfied with the quality and set and functionality of this product. I will be ordering more that is for sure!

Nice soft, comfortable socks, but I didn't realize that they can't be machine dried.

It seems as if Columbia has gradually cheapened some of their products over the last several years. These Hike Medium socks are about the same weight as the Columbia Hiker Lite socks that are finally wearing out after about 7 years of use. Also, these Hike Mediums are noticeably lighter in weight than the Hiker Medium socks of 7 years ago. Still, the quality seems excellent, and we'll just have to see how they hold up.

Almost perfect, soft and a good fit Wish the top was just a little less snug. Overall very happy with my purchase.

Great winter socks. They keep my feet very warm on my cold floors.

These sox are cushy in all the right spots, fit well in regular shoes or boots. They wash and dry just like new - no shrinkage, no pilling. They'd be ***** if the calf was a little more roomy, but that's probably just me. Yay comfy feet!

I guess I missed the label and didn't realize the sizing, for Women, ran from shoe sizes 8-11.5 -- that's too big of a size spread. I wear a size 9 I can tell there is just going to be too much sock to stuff into my shoe. I was also hoping these wouldn't be so thick -- thinner socks are better for moisture wicking actually.

These supposedly XL socks were so small that I gave them to my wife who wears a size 8 shoe.

Maybe the pairs I received were defective but was I was hiking I kept feeling something sharp poking into my feet. I took off the socks, shook them out, couldn't physically feel anything and I shook out my boots too just to make sure. Still had the same issue, but the issue went away when I changed to a different brand of hiking socks. Sucks because I love Columbia gear
