I bought this skirt both in denim and black and white check. Love the stretchy fabric. For some reason the white seemed to fit a bit more snug—fabric slightly less stretchy perhaps. I am almost 60 and this skirt is probably for young people and it’s too short for my age. So while I wear a size 6 typically, I got the skirt in a 12. This way i can adjust it so it sits lower on my body — a few inches below the waist- and the length is longer. It’s a narrow skirt so it still worked in a 12 without looking huge. My body type is boyish in that I’m not curvy at all and I’m a bit short waisted. I got the black and white one in a 10 and it worked great. Really love these skirts!

I'm a true 6 in most items and a medium in free people in general - this fit perfectly. I will say that the waist is *fitted* - if you carry a little more around your mid section, then this will fit tighter than your normal size in which case I'd size up.

Great black jean mini skirt! This fits snug, but is comfy and goes with everything! I wear it with leggings, boots and any top.

Love this skirt! At first it was hard to figure out what type of top to wear with this skirt, but now, I pair it with almost everything. During the colder season i wear a long blouse with booties, during the summer a shorter top with some flow and sandals. Very versatile and cute!

For ref I am 5'2 106lbs & the 0 fits perfect. Snug enough but not too tight.

Fit my 28" waist, 38" hips like a glove. Cute length -- not too short for a 30-something who spends most of her days playing video games and working a desk job. My only issue was that I didn't love the fabric. I was hoping for more "denim" -- and it's definitely an extremely denim blend. As such, it does more puckering than I wanted and didn't feel as edgy and durable. Think halfway between a denim skirt and a stretchy pencil skirt. Not bad, just not what I was looking for.

First, the skirt in Dark Blue is actually Westminister Blue, a different shade of blue. The skirt is fine, except it's kind of long for a person who is 5'1". If you wear it high-waisted, the length shouldn't be an issue. Also, I'm a 24 in FP jeans and I ordered size 0. The waist fits fine, but the skirt isn't as tight as I would like it to be at the bottom around my legs.

This skirt is adorable. It runs so small though that the sizing is very misleading. Luckily it's stretchy. I am between a 6-8, ordered a 12 and it is skin tight. Like I said, luckily it's stretchy and I can work with it. Attention manufacturer: Please provide more accurate sizing so that people have a realistic expectation of what they're getting.
