This had some areas that felt stiff and I was concerned that during a workout the shoe would cause sores in my feet, so they went back. It is a nice looking shoe.

When I initially tried them on they felt good. After walking in them in the house for a while my feet hurt.

I bought these at scheels for training on a mat about maybe two months ago. I liked the shoes at first, but I'm very unimpressed with the quality. Worn down very quickly! They were comfortable shoes just unhappy with how long they lasted.

These shoes are a lot clunkier looking when on your feet. The material felt thin and somewhat cheap. Ryka had been my go-to athletic shoe brand until about a year ago. A few months after purchasing a different pair of Ryka's, the side stitching near the pinky started to unravel. Not long after, the sole was detaching from the ball of the foot. Those things never happened in the past. Two strikes is all I need. Bye Bye Ryka

The left side fits great, but there's something a little different about the right side. It seems a little stiffer on one spot which feels a little weird when you bend your foot. I waited so long for them to be delivered that I didn't feel like waiting any longer for an exchange or return so I still workout in them.

I much preferred the Enhance 3 style shoe I had until recently. I liked the higher ankle support which is missing on the Devotion XT.

I absolutely love Ryka shoes. I've worn them for going on 20 years and have always been impressed with the fit and quality. However, this shoe was disappointing. It's supposed to be a walking shoe but it has no arch support at all. I'm on my feet 10 -12 hours a day. I don't do much walking; I just stand in one spot the whole day. An arch support is vital. I had to put an arch support insert into these shoes which helped, but altered the fit. It's not a shoe I would recommend. It looks great, but unfortunately that's not why I bought them.

Not a good fit for me...I used these for HAM, which is aerobics interspersed with toning. These shoes made the tendons in the my ankle and top of my foot sore. Sent back

Great room in toe box. Most remarkable is the snug, comfortable fit through the heel. Adequate depth to shoe. Quite the inadequate arch for my feet that need that arch support. Sent back.

These shoes are really comfortable and have great support. However, I had to send them back. I am a Zumba instructor and I need a shoe that will allow me to twist without hurting my knees. The pivot circle did not work for me.

I had high hopes for these. Unfortunately, when I slipped my feet into them and walked around there was something rubbing the tops of both of my feet. It's getting harder and harder to find quality cushioned sneakers! SO sad :(

Pros: relatively cute shoe, good cushioning in the heel, mostly fit my feet (I have a somewhat wider forefoot, narrower heel, and high arches). I normally wear an 8 in athletic shoes, and I ordered an 8. Cons: my feet started hurting less than 15 minutes into my workout (terrible cushioning in forefoot), little arch support, and the heels slipped a little (although this did not bother me) Bottom line: I returned these because they made me want to stop my workout. (I changed back into my old sneakers instead.)

I bought 2 pairs of Devotion XT, one in Navy and then I ordered one in Black. The Navy pair is fantastic. It is extremely comfortable and works really well in Zumba classes. It has an awesome cushion feeling for jumps and lunges and pivots extremely well. The black pair I bought, however, has an issue with the right heel. The heel tab is slightly off center and bends forward. It pulls the ankle sock down and is extremely annoying and uncomfortable. The left shoe is fine, but you need the pair to workout in.

This is my second pair of Devotion XT within a couple of weeks. The first pair (Navy) is perfect in every way, so I ordered the Black Tie Dye. Unfortunately within the space of a couple of weeks, Ryka switched out the Ortholite insoles for something firmer with less shock absorption. I contacted Ryka, and they do not sell replacement insoles, simply telling me to buy something at a drugstore. Sorry, but drugstore insoles are not going to work. I visited Ortholite's website, but there is no option to purchase; apparently they only sell to shoe manufacturers. I don't know why shoe manufacturers drop the ball with offering replacement insoles that are made to fit the shoe. I'm not happy with the Black Tie Dye at all. I tried adding metatarsal pads under the insole, and that just didn't work. To deal with the insole issue, I'm switching the Blue insole to the Black shoe when I want to wear the Black. Ridiculous. This is my last pair of Ryka shoes.

I have this same shoe in blue from 2 years ago. It is much better made. This one tends to run wide.

So bummed with the lack of cushion in these shoes and how much the heel slips! When the shoes eventually got here (I think they walked themselves from California to New Hampshire) I was excited to try them on. I know the return policy says that once they are worn for exercises you can't return them. So I jumped and danced around the house, trying to mimic some of the Zumba moves I would be doing later in the day. I noticed the heel slip during this trial, but thought I would just wear thicker socks and tighten the laces as tight as they would go. Cut to my Zumba class. After about 15 minutes of Zumba I could feel the contours of the sole of the shoe. The cushion in the toes are a bare minimum. Dance and Zumba require you to be on your toes quite a bit. This is extremely disappointing as now I cannot return them, but instead am on a search to find insole that will provide the proper cushion. Who knows, maybe I'll find something for the heel slip as well. The colors are great, just like what is advertised, and the laces stay tied (these are the only reasons the shoe doesn't receive a 1 star rating)

These shoes look and fit great, especially for my wide feet! However - that rubbery pivot spot that is supposed to allow pivots in Zumba.... well, it sticks to the wooden floor! I have read reviews by others, trying to understand the complements and it seems to me that they are written mostly because the spot is there, not because of how it works. Zumba is filled with quarter and half turns and I don't want to risk twisting my ankle or stepping around the turn to avoid the pivoting action. Best sole I ever found for Zumba was fairly hard and slippery, with enough strategically located ridges to enable sudden stops. They don't make that particular shoe anymore... Sadly, I am returning these shoes and my search for the right Zumba shoe will continue.

I don't know what is up with Ryka. I have worn their shoes for years, size 8.5, but this year the sizing is all over the place. The last pair I bought in 8.5 was small so I bought a 9 in this shoe and it is huge. This is the fifth pair of Ryka shoes I have bought this year, but I have only kept three because the sizing is so wacky. And of the three, one is a bit small and two are a bit big, but I adjusted with different socks.

I tried them on and returned them. I ordered a wide size, since I have bunions. However, this pair in Wide is actually narrower in the toe box than my old Devotions, which are a medium width. Quality control seems nonexistent. Waiting for my refund.

These are my go-to sneakers: they work in and outside the gym and even look great with a little summer dress :-)

I bought this shoe last year and it is by far the best fitness/training shoe I ever purchased. I have really bad Achilles tendinitis and most every shoe will aggravate it to the point where I cannot consistently work out. But not this shoe! It is low and cut out in the ankle area perfectly so it doesn't rub that tendon but still provides really great stability for my ankle. It is really light and stylish and I love that Ryka supports women.

The shoe doesn't have to be broken into when you first use it. It has great arch support and it doesn't pinch anywhere. It feels like as if the shoe was molded after my feet. Very comfortable and my knees doesn't hurt even after doing an extensive plyometric workout and dancing.

My arches are low so the support in this shoe makes it so much easier to walk for longer periods of time and more often. They are very breathable and my feet never get sweaty. The most comfortable shoes I have ever owned

I love the product. The sneaker is wonderful and fits my foot beautifully. Unfortunately, I am returning a pair. of Influence which do not fit as good as the Devotion XT. My exercise teacher told me about the Devotion XT and she wears them too! Unfortunately, I cannot purchase another pair of Devotion XT, as you do not have any in size 8.5. I am sending them out today and will be in touch once a new supply of 8.5 come in. Thank you, Catherine
