The width & length were perfect. Toe box was roomy and comfortable. I like the style & how they looked on. I was extremely disappointed in the non existent arch support and I wish it had more cushion. Luckily I have inserts I can use. I will keep these as they are cute & overall comfortable.

They fit but weren't really comfortable. They also didn't really look good on my feet. When I actually looked at the soles I understood the complaints from other reviewers about the bottoms coming apart; I can see how that could happen. Anyway I decided not to chance it. Too many negatives.

These were similar in comfort to the Devo Plus 2 walking shoe, but felt too large. I am going to try 1/2 size smaller and hopefully the width will still be wide enough.

I am professional Group Fitness Instructor with 30 years under my belt. I used to only wear Rykas and just switched back for something new. I received my shoes quickly but once I put them on, they feel "loose" and they seem to slide or slip on the floor more than I am used to. I ordered my normal shoe size -9. I tried them in class 2x and they were fine but they just are not as comfortable as I expected to the point that I had to spring for another pair of the shoes I had been wearing. I can't find my box and mailer so I guess I'm stuck with them. Can't believe this shoe was #1 in Shape Magazine. :0(

I think that overall this is a good shoe for dance aerobics. There is good lateral support, as well as a pivot point on the sole which help with dance movements. However, the sneakers run about a half size too large. I will be returning them and ordering a smaller size. Hopefully, they will fit and work well for me

I ordered these after my dance instructor told me they are really comfortable to dance in. I had another pair of Ryka training shoes and love them. They fit true to size. These shoes on the other hand fit differently. They feel very tight and small. I have to return them.

This is the second pair of Devotion XT I've purchased. The first pair in black fit perfectly and provided excellent support for my Jazzercise workout. This pair in grey seems to run about 1/2 size bigger, consequently not offering the same fit or comfort.

This Shoe is very stiff around the foot, and very cushiony under the foot, gives almost a bouncy walk. However it's way too stiff for me. Not very comfortable.

I have a pair of Ryka Devotion shoes I purchased several years ago that I LOVE. I wear them strictly for Jazzercise, a studio aerobic workout, three times a week. I have been trying to find a replacement pair for over a year. Every pair I have tried did not meet my standards of support set by my previous pair. The arch is too low and the padding is thinner. I like Ryka as a brand. I hope that you can once again return to my prior pair performance.

Ample toe room with a roomy toe box? Yes, finally! Wider width reflecting women’s wider feet? Yes, finally! Snug but comfortable upper? Yes! All qualities I want in my sneakers and have a difficult time finding. But remember when sneakers had no support, like chuck taylors? Then we got sneakers with very soft internal soles, then rubber ones that left your feet tired? These feel a lot like those rubber soles. I am fighting heel pain and have been wearing these indoors instead of slippers. When I received these and put them on, the comfort was unbelievable. I remarked on it so many times that my husband said, “Wow, maybe you found a go-to shoe.” The internal soul was supportive but cushioning, even a little bounce. Within 2 .5 days, they compacted an lost a lot of bounce and comfort. I don’t think I would recommend these shoes for athletic endeavors or high impact activities. They are probably fine for an around the house, town, or garden sneaker or for lower impact workouts like zumba.

Good shoe, wished I choose another color... kinda plain but definitely offers great lateral support. Light weight and good traction

After reading the reviews, I thought I found the perfect walking shoe. Out of the box they were comfortable, with a soft squishy feeling, but a little snug even though I ordered a wide. I figured they would loosen up with time. Unfortunately after about 30 minutes, my feet ached. Luckily I brought an old pair of shoes with me, just in case! I'm hoping that wearing them for short periods of time will break them in, otherwise they will be a donation to the thrift store.

I have purchased Ryka shoes for over 15 years because of the wider toe box. This is the 2nd pair that is too narrow. Will be returning the shoes this time. Very disappointed.

I have the Devotion high tops, and this pair unfortunately didn't have the same forefoot cushioning at the ball of the foot. I need the extra cushioning because of arthritis :(.

Very disappointed in this shoe. Had gotten away from Ryka for a couple years because they didn't last. Thought I'd try again. Followed customer feedback on sizing and it was wrong for my foot. Now trying to give to another fitness instructor.

I'm a fitness instructor and was looking for some lightweight comfortable supportive sneakers. The sneakers are definitely lightweight and look better than the photo online. After using them for one class I realize both shoes had a permanent outward roll causing my ankles to bother me after using them another two three times. Also the bottom black "grips" came loose.

These shoes have great forefoot cushioning, as advertised. Also very cute, especially for a size 10.5! However, not at all enough side support for the kind of high intensity aerobic dance I teach- Jazzercise. I have searched high and low for a very supportive shoe, and it's just not out there. I'd love it if Ryka would make that shoe for me!

The shoes seem to have nice cushioning and does help a little with heel pain. That being said these are not the best shoes. I don't care for the way these fit and feel, the material used could be better. Will keep and see how long these work for Zumba.

This Devotion style was slightly improved in comfort over the last generation, but still not up to par with the original Devotions. I will never understand why shoe companies mess with a good thing.

I guess they are trying to minimize how much material goes into each shoe and also using cheaper materials. The cut is so low the shoes almost fall off my feet every time I take a step. And the sole is now made of weird smooth plastic where the traction pattern used to be on their previous shoes. I'm going to return them.

The toe box was narrower than other wide width (D) sneakers I have bought in the past. The removable insole has no arch support in it and useless, but I usually replace insole with an orthotic arch/metatarsal one.
I'd also recommend:
I usually stick to New Balance shoes for walking and cross training
