I have Metatarsalgia (pain in the ball of my feet) and my Podiatrics suggested that I start using an in-sole since my feet no longer arch like they used to. Sof Soles one of the brands they recommended. I have been using it for a week and the incidences of shooting pain when I walk have reduced. I have ordered another two pairs to use them in all my shoes.

These made an immediate difference in my cycling. I use inserts in running shoes when I ride platform pedals. The Sof Sole FIT has a rigid bottom that extends all the way to the fifth metatarsal head, imparting the stiffness that the shoe lacks, as well as substantial support along the entire arch, both preventing collapse and providing proprioception to recruit the glutes. (Thank you, Steve Hogg.) My medial knee pain is gone. I moved the Superfeet inserts these replaced to my street shoes. I ordered size 11-12 to fit my 10.5 running shoes, and I'm glad I did. The Sof Sole FIT are just barely longer than the stock inserts and fit without modification, albeit snugly. They may be too small for a size 12 foot.

A great alternative to custom-made Orthotics which are no longer covered by my insurance.

I now have three pair of these insoles and am about to buy another. I like the medium arch. My shoe size is 91/2 and the 9-10 size insole fits perfectly with no trimming of the insole.
