The size does run about one-half size large. I most-often wear size 10 and the 9.5 size in these boots fits me well with medium weight ski socks. The boots will require a bit of breaking in which, I expected. The leather, both outer and inner lining are first rate as are the outer lug soles. I expect I'll be wearing these boots for a long, long time.

Excellent quality boots, they get lots of second looks. Comfortable for a day of normal walking but I wouldn't be hiking in them of course.

Love these. I live in Portland, where the only season is rain, and boots take a cringe-worthy beating if you don't commute by car. I'm usually a women's 9 with thick calves (15") even though I'm slim, and these fit PERFECTLY in a men's 7. They're sturdier leather, with full lining and a wider shaft, and the heavy-duty treading I love (like my Danner hiking boots). They dress up or down beautifully. Great step up from my Made in England Docs!

Well they look sexy so that's a darn good start. Good size, quality looks great. I mainly bought them as riding boots but I may have to bea wearing them more and more now. Love the Made in USA as well!!

I did not keep these boots as amazing a they are. The fit was great and the finish is amazing but my heel kept wanting to rise up with every step. I believe I need to try a boot with different heel support.

I own many pairs of Frye harness boots, they are all super comfortable but these are truly the best for Winter/wet weather. Would recommend. I may buy another pair. thanks
