I am almost always a size 9 and I have an average-width foot. So I was surprised when I found these to be too short and tight in the toe bed in a size 9. I sized up to a 9.5, and they fit well in the length- maybe very slightly wide, but I'm sure after being on my feet all day I'll appreciate the extra room. I chose these shoes because I wanted a non-athletic shoe that provides support for my problematically high arches while doing a lot of walking and standing on hard museum floors during an upcoming vacation. I did a lot of searching, and landed on these as striking the best balance of arch support and non-orthopedic styling. These don't totally scream "comfort brand shoe" and are non-descript enough to go with anything. I'm sure I'll wear them a ton. That said, to be totally honest, the trade-off for all that support is that they're a tiny bit clunky compared to normal flats. They're fine, and passable, but if I didn't have the high-arch issue and this upcoming trip to worry about, I would probably would not have picked these over the thousands of cute flats in the world. Also, the velcro strap, while convenient, isn't exactly my favorite stylistic choice, and I'll probably spend a lot of time making sure the velcro isn't showing. (Velcro is basically the elastic waistband of shoes. And I like yoga pants as much as anyone.) Thankfully, they've provided some fake buckle hardware on the strap, which looks pretty real to me. I initially purchased them in the grey/slate color, which I found to be a tad too taupe/brownish for my needs. Got the black instead. Materials seem good, and I should also note they have a lot of cushioning, which should be good for shock absorption-- alll-too-rare in flats.

So cute and perfect fit - wore the first day for 8+ hours no pain or staining of feet! I love these shoes

so cute! rich burgundy color, nice suede. weird sizing! i'm an 8, sometimes 8.5, 38-39 euro - always depends on the brand. i have short toes, average width food. i chose an 8.5 in this - length was ok, arch in the right place, but felt narrow with toes squeezed mercilessly into a tiny toe box. sent for the 9 - like a different shoe! room for toes, length still ok - maybe a bit deeper, if that makes sense. i'd say size up for sure; i'm keeping the 9!

felt short and narrow. great arch support. trying to decide if I want to go for the larger size or if the ankle strap cut me off in a weird spot as well.

These are adorable on your foot but the 11 which I always wear was too short. Sadly returning.

I bought these shoes in my normal size they do run a bit tight around the widest part of my foot so I just wore them around the house with my thick wool socks on to stretch them a bit and it worked just fine they are now very comfy and cute. I love the rich burgundy color.

I bought this shoe for my mom. They style was perfect for her but the sizing was no good for her. Bought an 8, returned them for 8.5, and still too small for her. She normally takes an 8. The pinch was the narrow width in the toe box. Sadly had to return them.

Beautiful! Ran 1/2 size small. (Surprisingly, I bought the same shoe in Black in my normal size (8.5)) I returned the 8.5 and bought the 9. Go figure.

Very nice shoe, cute style, easy on/off with velcro ankle strap, and good support. However, as another reviewer mentioned, the toe box seemed unusually tight so had to return them.

What's interesting is I have another pair of Earth with similar style and though I usually wear a 9 I had to buy an 8.5 in the other style and I would need a 9.5 in this style.
