This monk strap type shoe is the 4th pair my son has received from Florsheim. They only complaint I have is your shipping procedure. I feel if you ship with UPS it should stay that way. My shipment to my son was first with UPS and then brought to the Post Office. When it went out for delivery by the US Post Office, a note was left to tell my son, who lives in NYC, since no one was at the apartment he has to pick up his package at the post office. I find this to be unacceptable. We have purchased several shoes from you and this was never a problem before. Hand offs to others for delivery is being very cheap for expensive shoes.

Good fit, area near ankle didnt hurt. Might scuff a bit and changes color when hit with water but wont stain. Looks good, thought about getting brogue, but the plain style is just as classy.

I was so excited that the size 7.5 fit perfectly as I had hoped. I also have a wide foot and very high instep, and these shoes fit like a glove. They also look great and have that amazing Florsheim sole. I know some of the reviewers mentioned that they are prone to scuffs. This is a high-gloss leather look and yes, be careful and keep the shoe polish handy. Very pleased with the style of these as well. The color is as expected. The buckles have a bit of elastic attached so they are able to give a little as you walk. Makes the shoe very comfortable.
