The shoes are great and I have received some compliments on them. They were a bit stiff at first, but they seem to be wearing in after about the 5th wearing.

I was looking for a casual pair of shoes that I could wear when going out or to work, and this pair of shoes fit both needs. They look great with a nice pair of jeans in both situations. They're also very comfortable for walking, and the shoes are really lightweight.

When I first opened the box and saw my Florsheim Navigators, I have to admit I wasn’t necessarily excited about wearing them. They just looked a bit too plain for me. However, once I put them on, I loved the way they looked with my blue jeans. I also think the slightly darker tip gives them a subtle style that many will appreciate. When it comes to comfort, these shoes knock it out of the park. First, they are extremely light, so it doesn’t even feel like you’re wearing shoes. The arch support is on target and seems to hit my foot in all the right places. When I first put them on, I thought they were going to cut into my heel just a bit. However, after I walked around in them for a few minutes, that feeling was gone. Finally, I feel my toes have just enough room to wriggle around, but not so much that the shoes feel too big. Overall, I’d say the Navigators are in my top 20 of comfortable shoes. If you’re looking for a shoe with subtle style and major comfort, you can’t go wrong with the Florsheim Navigators.

Florsheim Navigator Plain Toe Oxford: This is a good casual but sharp looking shoe. The leather is good quality, substantial but not too heavy with a good feel. The color is a good medium dark tan with maybe a walnut tone. Florsheim seems to be consistent in use of quality leather and producing a well made shoe at this price. The sole is soft and comfortable. The first thing I noticed is that the Navigators are light weight, but they do not feel cheap or flimsy at all. The outer sole is a lighter gray color that would not have been my first choice but it's fine. Seeing them in person the sole would not at all dissuade me from buying the shoe. Comfortable and slightly cushy footbed and over all light and easy to wear. All in all these are quality shoes.

I really like the style of these shoes. They nicely pair with casual office attire, at least for me. Florsheim generally has nice shoes and these Navigators are no exception. Out of the box, they already feel broken in as the sole is really flexible. I noticed a bit of a crease across the toe box at first, but that seems to be softening with wear. The white soles are a nice look, but time will tell how fast they become dirty looking (I'm afraid if they get too dirty, the whole look of the shoe will be affected). For size, these seemed pretty snug, maybe 1/2 size larger than normal size would be a better fit. The only disappointment would be with how cushiony they are. The insoles are really thin and offer no support. I suppose that ought to be expected when labeled as 'ortholite'.

I was pleasantly surprised by these shoes. My husband said they were comfortable and wide enough for his very wide feet. They are a casual shoe that looks good with chinos. They also made him an inch taller!

Looks good, sized smaller than my last size 12 shoe, so I had to return it. Looking forward to its replacement.

These did not look quite as good as I thought they would and were not very comfortable. They’re ok, but I’d probably not buy them again.

This was part of an order with an Onitsuka Tiger sneaker. I ordered all of the shoes in size 9. Where the Tiger size 9 was too narrow, this size 9 was too large. I tried to convince myself to keep them but failed.

Advertized as a 3E but was not a true triple wide, more like a simple Wide. I had to return them unfortunately. They were a nice looking shoe otherwise.

Nice simple style. Overall a little too narrow to be comfortable. I will return and wait to see if the wide becomes available in my size.

I have mixed feelings about Florsheim Navigator Plain Toe Oxford. I am a huge fan of Florsheim. I bought a pair for my husband to replace an old pair of Ecco's. They make comfortable well constructed attractive shoes. This meets the comfort and construction standards I expect but falls short when it comes to attractiveness. We both couldn't figure out if it was supposed to be a casual shoe for jeans and a sweater or the type of shoe he usually wears everyday to work with dress pants a collared shirt and occasional tie. The wing tip suggests dressier but the brushed leather and white stitching say casual to us.

Black paint or polish on portions of the lighter sole. Appeared to be poorly made. Shoe was wide, as well.

Really nice looking shoe style-wise - I ordered the navy and the gray. The gray was much darker in person than shown online. The navy was accurate and would have been the one I kept were the shoes actually comfortable. Very stiff out of the box and little to no arch support. Felt light and cheap. Back they went. Went wit Rockport Total Motion in a similar style.
