Fairly comfortable at first wearing, but one or two rubs spots

These are truly a wide width and comfortable. I like the weight and the fit.

Super comfortable shoes! I felt that the normal 7.5 felt wide, will try with woolen socks for a better fit.

I really like the look of these trail shoes. They do run slightly on the large side, but not enough to go down a half size. I bought them to replace a much loved pair of New Balance shoes that they don't make anymore.

I needed a good trail walking show that I could use an orthotic with. These work perfectly.

These boots are very comfortable to wear all day.

Too big in the heel

I liked the color and style of these hiking shoes. I wish there was a little more cushioning in the sole, though. They feel very basic. But, I guess you get what you pay for. Maybe a different insole will help.

no matter how tight i make them they slide on heel

I wanted to love these hiking shoes because they checked off a lot of boxes for me including a nice big toe box. But, apparently I have low ankle bones on the outside of both my ankles which the side of the boots rubbed on. I figured if they were doing that right out of the box, I would definitely have blisters after a day of hiking in them. The heel was also a little loose on both my feet. Possibly that could be fixed with a thicker sock. If you are in the market for a hiking boot, I'd still give them a try because they are well made, sturdy, and not too heavy for a day or week straight of hiking. They just didn't fit my weird feet.
