I use these for shorter hikes and dog walking and found them to be very comfortable, with little time needed to break in. My feet have stayed dry while out in the rain and they have been warm for fall temps. I ordered a half size up to allow for thick socks and the fit is just right.

Great shoe. Very comfortable. Runs small. Ordered a whole size up. Fits great. I recommend this shoe. Just make sure to order size big enough to ensure comfort.

These fit true to size for me but I always order a half size bigger in order to use insoles or thick socks. I suggest doing that if you like to wear thick socks. Out of the box my husband and I went on 2 hikes 4 miles each over the weekend and they felt very good .

I decided to take these for a test drive on a rough hike that includes a mile-long rock scramble. The shoes are sturdy and protected my feet well when I was climbing over the rocks. They're also comfortable and don't rub on my toes, heels, or ankles. I didn't worry when crossing a shallow stream because the shoes are waterproof. I'm very happy with my purchase and I look forward to taking these shoes on more hikes.

Comfy and dry! Yes, they really work while hiking through puddles and rain. Ordered 1/2 size up after discussion with Columbia consultant because I sometimes have issues with exact fit. In hind sight, that was a good choice. These fit well. I can adjust for sock thickness. Therapeutic inserts fit nicely inside too.

Bought this as a work shoe on our farm. I walk a lot and needed a rugged shoe but not a boot. This shoe is it. It's lightweight and made well. I normally wear and ordered a Womens 8.5 and fits nicely with my normal medium weight sock. Shoe is comfortable to wear for long days. I would recommend.

This is my first Columbia shoe and I am very satisfied with the fit. I always order 1/2 size larger because of thick socks and occasional swelling feet. Great for camping, I am a senior citizen and wear these for shopping trips, also. Comfortable all day.

I haven't actually worn these yet, but the trial fit went well. Color is great and fit is average. I may have to get a new insert depending upon the the original ones work with my feet

I really wanted these shoes to fit, but without a wide fit, I couldn't make them work. The quality and look are great, just what I was looking for in an everyday shoe that I could wear around the ranch. Please consider adding wide to your sizes!

These shoes are excellent! I first wore them to our trip to Peru and did lots of walking and hiking on them and they held up very well to different terrains. They had great arch support and needed no breaking in period. Very pleased with this purchase!

These shoes are amazingly comfortable and such a great quality, they run true to size and they have such a great grip in comparison to using my "tennis shoes" as my "hiking shoes". Great buy and totally worth it!

Very comfortable shoes but they do run small. I wear between a 7.5-8 woman's shoe. So I originally ordered an 8. Had to return them and buy an 8.5.

I love these shoes. I do moderately difficult hiking and these are perfect. The fit is just snug enough for optimum support, and the bottom treads make you feel very secure on uneven or slippery terrain. They are even cute to look at. A+++

The first day I wore these for 11 hours without any discomfort. I work on a farm and on my feet all day. It was wet but my feet were dry. I wish the laces were a little longer so I could tuck them inside the shoe, a minor concern. A great purchase.

With the exception of dress shoes, Columbia is my go-to source for shoes. I have been deailng with them for years and they have never failed me. I use these for daily comfort and they are a major support for my walking program. They last longer than many other brands. The service on this was pleasant and responsive too.

My personal opinion is that the graphite wild iris colors looks prettier in person than the picture on the internet. I usually wear a 7 1/2 wide and I ordered a half size bigger. It was a perfect fit and I recommend anyone to do the same to feel comfortable. Other than that, I'm ready for my next hike and love the shoes.

Glad I listened to reviews. Size 7 fits great in most shoes. Definitely would have been too small in this shoe. Ordered half size up, size 7.5 fits perfect. Took them for my first hike yesterday, they did great. Happy to find these quality shoes at a lower price. Accidentally donated my last hiking shoes to a thrift store. Hiking is about the only thing I'll be able to do during quarantine, I'm ready. Reddish color is very pretty
