Fit is not right. Causes pain in toes. Nice shoes, but not right for me.

These were hubby's. But they were too small (short) & therefore returned. Nice shoe, but opted for another brand instead.

I'm on my feet all day and these shoes hold up pretty well. The last pair lasted for 6 months. These seem to have a different sole material and lug pattern that is not as "grippy" as my last pair. All in all, a sturdy, comfortable shoe.

Four hikes later, I am happy with this shoe.
I got it as a replacement for an old
Redmond shoe. The Redmond was changed and I did not like the changes.
This shoe is lighter, so it climbs easier.
Thanks!

These run true to size and the wide width is actually wide enough. They are a bit longer in the toe than I'm used to. They look very nice. Eventually I will put my insoles in them to make them more comfortable.

I purchased the Crestwood hiking shoe because I walk a lot at work and need a good insole. These shoes are good, probably very good for some, but I could use more cushioning. That is the problem buying online, i cant check. A few yrs back i bought a pair of Columbia hiking shoes and they were great!! I looked them up and couldn't find them anywhere. I will try another style hopefully finding the comfort I seek. These overall are a very good shoe to me.

The shoes were fine, I would guess.....but all columbia shoes seem to run pretty narrow. They crush my fat toes.

This is not a brown shoe with dark brown trim, but rather a greenish taupe with avocado skin green trim. Nowhere close to the brown color in web photo. If you like the swamp muck green color, then this shoe would be perfect for you as it is very comfortable on the feet.

Comfortable, but effectively worn out after only 15 months with fabric inners worn through and soles flat or worn down to minimal tread. Benefitted from having heel inserts. Disappointed in short life-span for an "every-day" around town shoe.

I will be happy to review these shoes if I ever receive them. Ordered on 12/17, today is January 1st and tracking still says waiting carrier pickup.

Wide Columbia shoes seems to be normal size for other brands. Definitely not a men's US size 11 wide shoe.

Good deal bad quality. The came in the box already messed up which is unfortunate. Cannot take it to the store to exchange them

They fit well and are comfortable. However it only took a little over 3 months to wear through the black (lowest) part of the sole at the heel. I do a lot of walking, most of it on streets and sidewalks. Columbia's Birkie Trail model (only at Famous Footwear) used to last a year for me, but since those were discontinued neither their "Valley Pointe" (also specific to FF, not nearly as good as the Crestwood) or this model have been as durable. It seems the company has gone over to a much softer material for the soles. This is disappointing, because the Crestwood was otherwise a fine shoe.

I have another pair of Crestwoods in a different color that I really like, and the fit is perfect. So I ordered another pair in this color. I think there is something wrong with the right shoe's toe in the way it's being made. Comparing it to my other pair, the toe of the right shoe is crooked, and that's the place where the shoe doesn't fit. I might wait a while and try it again hoping that what appears to be a manufacturing issue might be resolved.

The shoe is a little short at the back so it slides on my heel

They were ok for the price but I need a hiking shoes with a little more arch support. I have significant lower back issues w/ sometimes intense sciatica. So fit n comfort is needed for me. More so than the average person. Regrettably, I'll have to return them. Thank Zappos for their free return shipping n generous return policy and is why I continue to ship here for my shoes.

The size was ok and the shoes felt good under my feet, but there's this weird lip at the heel that I knew right away would turn into double blisters.

I liked the shoe, but the uppers were made of iron and the laces and soles made of cotton candy. VERY uneven wear.

Decent shoe, absolutely a horrible tread for a gravel driveway. Can’t come inside without a rock or two to scratch up the hardwood.

these shoes are fairly good looking. The cushion is a bit hard, not in line with what you would expect for walking and hiking. They have worn well on the outside the padding in the heal on both shoes has wornout prematurely and I only noticed this as a result of several pairs of sox being ruined by it. I would not buy them if you plan to use them for any exercise.
