These are really cute shoes...can be worn with dresses, skirts, pants, leggings, or jeans. I usually take a 7.5 or may an 8 (in trainers), but ordered the 7 and the fit was perfect. Wore them on a walk to town right after I received them and they were totally comfortable.

Soft leather, cushy yet supportive insoles. Achilles tendinitis and plantar fasciitis has forced me into only sneakers lately but these feel comfortable and supportive enough for me. They feel slightly heavy but overall very comfortable. I’m on my feet all day in the classroom but I don’t always want to wear sneakers!

I LOVE these shoes! I ordered my usual size (8 1/2 W) and they fit perfectly. I have bunions and have had trouble finding dress shoes that fit and are comfortable. The leather that these shoes are made of is soft and flexible. I love the velcro strap, that looks like a buckle, because it keeps the shoe securely on my foot. Usually when I order a wide shoe it fits in the toe box, but the heels are too wide and slip off my feet. And these do not look like you are wearing a wide shoe. I wore them to a wedding last week and thought they looked very classy. I was able to dance throughout the reception without my feet hurting at all! I highly recommend these shoes!

I am searching hard for a mary jane shoe in a wide style and these are really great shoes! The simple style is really cute and with the middle seam and small notch accent make a wide foot look just a tad less wide. My only wish is if the toe box was less pointy, that is the only thing that is making the fit a little too tight. If I had a 10.5ww, it would be perfect. I am keeping another pair instead of this one and am thankful that Zappos has a nice return policy.

I have 3 pairs of these shoes in black, blue and brown. Great shoe for me. I can remove the insole and insert my orthotic. My mainstay for work. They’re the most stylish shoes I’ve had since I got my orthotics. Great with pants and you can even wear them with skirts & dresses.

I love these shoes! I'm on a quest to find a nice quality mary jane for my wide feet with high instep and I'm almost there with these shoes! The leather is nice and soft, they are comfortable, and the styling with the small cut out point at the center front makes my foot look just a little bit more narrow. I can tell that these shoes would be comforable right of of the box and they are very lightweight. I usually wear a 10.5w (or ww), bought these in a 11w because that was all that was available, but if I can get my hands on a 10w, I know they would be perfect!

These shoes are very comfortable. As a matter of fact, as soon as I got them I took them to the cobbler. He is changing the soles to leather so I can dance in them. It is impossible to find a wide dance show without heels. Finally, I will have real dance shoes instead of putting dance socks over the ball of my athletic shoes!

Fit comfortably and I am able to wear comfy socks with the shoe.

This is my second pair of Taos Ta Dah Mary Janes. I got the pewter and love them and decided to get the black. There is a LOT of padding in the footbed and the rubber heel makes it comfortable to walk - even on concrete- comfortably for a long time. Straight out of the box they are wonderful. I like the Mary Jane simple styling but the seam in the front adds a little flair and the stitching around the edge is pretty. The adjustable velcro strap across the top is very handy to get the shoe to fit exactly as snug as you need and want. Fit is true to size.

Excellent walking shoe with no break in period. They are definitely coming to Spain with me.

They felt good from the start. I am wearing them for a while around the house to see if they might work for dancing.

I wear a size 10 Wide and these fit perfectly. They are not tight, and there is plenty of room for my toes. They are easy to walk in but still look nice. I was looking for a closed toe, semi-dressy black shoe that was easy to walk in but still had some kind of support. These fit the bill exactly. They are really cute and feel wonderful.

This shoe is VERY comfortable. I did order a half size smaller after reading the reviews, but they were too small, so I exchanged them for my normal size and they are wonderful! There is plenty of wiggle room in the toes which I really appreciate. I wear a size 81/2 Medium.

I really liked these! I have weird feet - size 12, 13 in athletic shoes. I have a narrow heel, wide toe box, high arches, and a tailor bunions especially bothersome on the right foot. These fit great, were very comfortable, and pretty dang cute despite being orthopedic-type shoes. The only reason I returned them was I preferred a very similar shoe just a bit more - the Dansko Fawna. They both look similar, but I found the Dansko shoe to have a little better support, which is important to me as I work in a hospital. Nothing at all wrong with these though!

These shoes saved Christmas. I work retail and stand all day on the merchandise floor or behind my standing desk. During the holidays my feet and legs ache. My cramped toes are usually numb and my toe pad burns. Not this year! I wore these babies practically every day. There is ample room in the toe box for my toes to wiggle. There was plenty of arch support so that my legs and lower back felt fine. I bought my usual Dansko brand at the same time, but they have pretty much stayed in the closet. This shoe was the clear winner.

These shoes are very comfortable, stylish and cute. I was looking for a shoe that would help walking with painful flat feet. This shoe fits the bill. It seems to be made of good quality. I'm not sure how I feel about the velcro closure. Its helpful to adjust the tightness of the shoe but I hope it holds over time.

My feet have an impossible combination of needs to accommodate - - narrow heels, medium toe box, very high arches. (I feel certain that by now, my name must have become notorious in Zappos' return department!) But this sweet little shoe has been comfy right out of the box. The skinny velcro strap across the instep can accommodate my high arches and keep the shoe on my foot. The heel is narrow enough to hug my heel, and there's a good amount of padding inside the shoe. The sole is constructed well enough to make walking comfortable, even for someone like me who has significant problems with peripheral neuropathy. (If you don't know what that is...good for YOU - - keep it that way!!) This shoe looks cute with jeans, with many of my skirts and dresses, and does not look at all geriatric. I love this shoe. Might even order it in another color.

Very well made shoe. I originally ordered a 7 1/2 W in this shoe and it felt a bit loose. I returned and got the 7W, which fits perfectly. I have a small bunion on my right foot and this shoe affords superior comfort. Generally in closed toe shoes I find mostly that a 7 1/2 W fits best, but in this shoe, I sized down to the 7W. Leather is soft and the shoe it quite stable. The rubber bottom provides great traction and no slipping on wet or smooth surfaces. This shoe can be worn with casual skirts/dresses and tights or skinny pants.

I have a very wide foot w/ Bunions. From the moment I put them on, I could walk all day in them. I bought these shoes about 3 years ago and after a TON of wear, I finally had to buy another pair. This shoes ROCK!

These shoes are amazing in every way. I wear orthotics and with the removable insert, these shoes work great. And, the comfort level is over the top. I really like the faux clasp which hides the velcro closure so you can custom adjust the strap. I've received many compliments and even one stranger asked for details on where she might purchase a pair.
