Ladies, these shoes are positively dreamy. I have a fairly large bunion on my left foot, so I need shoes made of high quality leather. I need them to be wide in the toe box and the top of the shoe must come up and over the bunion. The length of my foot actually measures a 7, but in many shoes I order a 7.5 to accommodate my bunion unless the shoe comes in a wide width. I first ordered these in a 7.5 M width, but they seemed a little too long and "sloppy". Zappos, as usual, came to the rescue and the next day I had a size 7W on my doorstep. They fit perfectly. The ankles seem to be the same size as the 7M. The strap is not too long. I live in the mountains, so I never have to walk far in dress shoes. I only walk distances in running shoes or hiking boots. When I go to the city, I always dread the long mile walks in dressy shoes to the subway and back. My feet just kill me. I searched for shoes that I could wear with dresses or pants and still walk a couple of miles without taking my shoes off and throwing them. These shoes are IT! There is a lot of padding under the ball of the foot and heel. The arch is great under my very high arches. Thank you Zappos, for exchanging my size and not charging me twice. Who else does that? NO ONE.

VERY ADORABLE. They look like the skimmers everyone is wearing right now and they are comfortable. Definitely not geriatric in appearance. I love my black pair so much I plan to pick up the pewter pair. They almost look like ballet flats. My photos don’t really do them justice. They are super cute!!

I’m still debating about whether or not to keep these shoes, here’s the reason why... I asked Zappos to notify me when these shoes were back in stock, and they did and I ordered them. I had a feeling that the reason they came back in stock was because of a CUSTOMER RETURN. The shoes arrived quickly as usual with Zappos amazing fast shipping-unfortunately, they were thrown in the box, contained no shoe stuffing/inserts along and the wrapping tissue was very worn. When I return an item, I am very concentious about making sure that the item is neatly enclosed with all its stuffings into the shipping box. With this being said, shouldn’t Zappos customer service ensure that if the returned item is not packed properly, to make sure that IT IS packed properly for the next customer?! I THINK I DESERVE A DISCOUNT ON THIS PURCHASE FOR SLOPPINESS, and lack of employee pride-customer service/managements goal should be in wanting to ensure that each and every customer receive a neat and well packed product. Thank you.

These are so cute and just dressy enough . Super comfortable and actually wide enough in the toe. Love the Velcro strap as opposed to buckling and unbuckling !

There are enough things right with this shoe that it deserves a 5 star rating. Well made, good materials, nice insole, comfortable and solid arch support, cute and dainty style... would work with a skirt or dress pants. I felt it was worth the asking price. If your feet tend to be just a touch wider in the toes and narrower in the heel, you'll likely appreciate the fit of this shoe.

Very, VERY high arch support. I have typical feet of medium width, and arch of these were near the ball of my foot. They are cute, and the leather is soft. I knew in a second they were wrong and had to go back.

These are very comfortable, but I wish the toe box had a little more room. The top of my toes was a little tight. The wide was too wide for me. My orthotic fits in them nicely. I like the fake buckle/velcro feature. They look way better on than in the photos! Lots of compliments already.

I am so excited about this shoe. It is nice and wide for my post surgery feet. I had the cobbler replace the rubber soles with leather. They are perfect for dancing. I tested them out last night!

My feet were hurting (my plantar fasciitis was flaring up) before I tried these on and I didn't have much confidence that they would feel comfortable. I'm happy to report that I was completely wrong. These shoes fit in every way and the arch support even helped quell the fasciitis flare almost immediately. The toe box is roomy and the top of the shoe has ample coverage so as to not irritate my bunions. I'm sure these are going to be my new favorite shoe!

This shoe is a nice work shoe. I love what it looks like, but it didn’t have enough arch support for me. I took out the insoles and replaced them with my ASICS running shoe insoles, which fit perfectly, and now they feel and look great! I would highly recommend this shoe for the look, style, and comfort but if you need arch support you might need to replace the insoles. That said, the Taos insoles are soft and comfortable. They just didn’t work for me. The shoe though is well made and classy. Nice Mary-Jane style flat with Velcro (no buckle).

Cute, seemingly well-made shoe that runs HUGE! I am a full size 12, and my foot was swimming in this shoe.

Wow...I have tried at at least 3 dozen shoes - and these are like magic. I feel like Cinderella due to the fit. I am an 8C size, and usually go with 7.5W in sandals or clogs and 8M, 8W or 8.5 in shoes/sneakers. These fit in 8W - perfectly. The leather is soft but sturdy enough that it won't get baggy (like dansko clogs did). The footbed offers some arch support, but I have high arches. I'd buy these in additional colors if they were offered, but alas, I' will have to settle for black. These are a keeper. Finally.

These shoes were 100% comfortable right out of the box. I took a brave stance and wore them without socks for a 14-hour day and they felt soft and supportive all day! Although I hadn't put in any insoles, my plantar fasciitis also felt better. Also, I have a wide toe box and these felt roomy without looking wide. I'll buy these in more colors!

I really like this shoe. It looks closer to a ballet flat than I anticipated but it's a little more interesting with the maryjane strap. The metallic pewter color is a great neutral that's much more interesting than black or brown. It's really comfortable and only required a little bit of break in to soften the leather on top of my toes. I've never bought this brand before, so I hope it is long-lasting. I walk a lot. Based on the reviews I ordered a half size smaller than usual and it fits perfectly.

Loved these shoes right out of the box , no break in needed. Super soft leather and great arch support for my flat feet. These shoes are very well made. I wish they came in more colors so could buy more.

I love this shoe. I have very high arches and a very high instep, with a large toe joint bone spur on one foot. This shoe accommodates all that with ease. I can wear these all day with comfort. The quality is excellent, nice arch support, as well. I only buy leather shoes, as leather breathes, conforms well to the foot, and is so comfortable. You won’t be disappointed with this shoe.

After trying a number of Mary Janes (not my favorite style, but necessary given my many foot problems), I tried these on and wore them 3 days in a row while facilitating a training session. I was on my feet a lot, and the shoes were very comfortable! The shoes are cute, and I like the thin strap (some MJs have wide straps that make the shoe look heavy and unattractive). I'm thinking of purchasing a second pair in a different color since finding a comfortable shoe that's reasonably attractive and can be worn in a professional environment is so difficult for me. Thanks to Zappos for being patient as I tried on shoe after shoe before finding these.

Amazing fit for my feet. I have very a painful bunion on my left foot and a smaller one on my right. My feet are flat and pronate some. I wear a size 9 W in Ascics and a 40 in Dansko & Allegria. They are soft black leather, and I wore them for 5 hours yesterday while chasing after my kids and running errands. No pinching, blisters, or pain. The best part is there seems to be no need to have a painful break-in period, which is something I've gotten used to sadly. Plenty of heel cushioning without any weird wooshing air noises, they do not gap around the sides of my foot (something I struggle with in ballet styles). The velcro is barely noticeable and the soft half is on the strap end so it won't snag onto your sock if you wear one. I needed a shoe that made my foot appear a bit less clunky than my Allegrias to wear with slim fit dress pants at a conference. These will be perfect.

These were too cute! Unfortunately, I have balance issues and, for some reason, I felt unstable in them.

Beautiful shoe and would have kept, but the toebox is too deep for me; perfect for someone who needs that extra depth. Quality is evident, comfort high, and stylish for a comfort shoe. Felt a little bigger than 8 1/2.

This shoe is true to size. Do not buy 1/2 a size smaller, I almost did and it wouldn’t have fit, length wise is TRUE to size! Width is lightly wider than my usual SAS and Cole Haan shoes, more like an M in Clarks. I will say a true M. The back-heel area is very hard, so will need break up time, re-consider to buy if you have achilles tendinitis. I read in comments “no need to break” not in my case. I am 50 yrs old, but I do not have bunions or problematic feet, except for plantar fascitis. Moderate arch support. I am a college professor and need comfy shoes to walk long distances in campus. Mostly wear tennis shoes, but needed a more professional shoes. The color is NOT as seen in the picture. I am dissapointed- is a very dark gray, almost black, I was expecting a lighter dark gray color.

They are perfect in every way. I like the little notch in the front because it makes them a bit fancy. Fit is good and they were comfortable immediately, no breaking in needed.
