I bought this luggage brand new and used it only once for my Alaskan cruise. I did not fly to my embarkation port so it did not go through baggage handling at the airport but was handled by porters at the pier. The exterior of the luggage had a lot of scratches and scrapes after only one use. I suggest buying a luggage cover for protection. The luggage was lightweight but felt like it was falling apart after being filled with clothes, 3 purses, 3 pairs of shoes. I did not even have to use the expandable feature. The handles also felt like they were about to come off so I was very careful lifting them. Not sure if this luggage will last for a few more trips. . I beg to disagree with those who gave a 5 star rating for this luggage.

Looking for new luggage set and this one is the clear favorite for me, however I'm not able to make a complete set because it does not come in medium. Will that eventually be added to the freeform collection?

I got these over a moth ago in pink and on my first trip using them it was so easy to pack everything and carry them around, I packed the big one with clothes for a week for 2 adults and it was not even full, and the small one for a toddler and his tons of clothes and blankets, everything fitted.

I had this suitcase fall out of my trunk and plunged into the forest area while on the highway during a rain storm. It ended up being perfectly fine except some stitches came out! Highly recommend. The salesman told me that they tested it upon high forces of impact and he did not steer me wrong.

This travel luggage does not disappoint! I had the opportunity to use a set from a friend first to try it out and I loved it so much I had to have my own. It's very durable and has a smooth glide even over bumpy grounds it'll keep up with my fast pace movements. Also, I don't feel the weight of all my belongings inside and the amount of space that I get is tremendous! I was able to pack extra clothes and still purchase more clothes over my travels that all fit within my same luggage. I'm very happy !

Purchased for husband who loves it! He has never owned his own personal carry on. Loads of traveling ahead.

Love the size. Bigger than a carry-on but not too obnoxiously big. I love the navy color. Great for longer trips.

Can't go wrong for purchasing Samsonite luggage. I still have luggages in great shape from 1990's. We travel a lot and I've had to recently replace the wheels, a handle on another one and zipper fixed on another.

This suitcase survived the international trip to Italy and up and down many staircases in train stations in Italy! Many reviews before mine said the hard-shell gets scratched easily and that ruins the look - which is not wrong - but also not something I was worried about. Everyone was worried that the large-sized wouldn't be allowed to be checked and that is 100% WRONG - I had NO issues checking this on several flights, and no issues with the weight either. Best suitcase ever, can't wait for more future travel!

After many years of travel, I replaced my current Samsonite carry on with the freedom carryon. Samsonite always delivers on quality, and durability, and affordability.

This is a great size for travel and so very durable and light. Great bag.

This suitcase is so roomy and easy to handle. It is lightweight, but sturdy. I am very pleased with how it looks as well.

It's lightweight, durable, stylish and fits everything you need. For some airlines it's technically slightly over the carry-on size but i have never had an issue. I also love the locking mechanism and the smooth handle mechanism.

Replaced my Orvis carry on with this one. A little smaller and definitely lighter. The expansion capabilities are a nice feature when you need a little extra room after buying items on vacation.
