Purchased these Tasmans in size 5 Big Kids. Orange. My 2nd pair in these styles. I own the original brown color & now wanted the colorful option for fun. These are unisex. Fit: My barefeet measures 9 inches. These fit perfectly without wiggle room, back of shoe hit right behind my heel comfortably. I suggest you size up 1 size if you prefer some room. Also, if you wear socks. I wear these without socks so they fit perfect. Or else I would size up so my heel doesn't go over the edge. If you’re not familiar with this Tasman style, it may feel awkward at first…as if your socks are slipping off beneath your heel. But it didn’t take long to adjust. I prefer these over boots because I could easily remove my shoes as it has minimal coverage towards the back, easy to slip on/off. Fur is thick and plushy, comfy, warm. I suggest keeping an eye out for sales throughout the year on Zappos for Big Kids size which goes for around $46 it is more worth it. Probably best during off seasons. $70 is a bit much but quality is pretty great all around no complaints. Great for both indoor/outdoor shoes because the bottom sole is thick. Weight: Slightly clunky feel. You could feel that you’re wearing these but they are not too heavy I just mean the weight is noticeable. I highly recommend owning a pair! Zappos has the best prices, great customer service, prompt shipping/returns, hassle free process.
