I found the upper part after it was zipped, to be too tight. The shoe part fit very well.

I like the look of these. They are versatile to dress up or down. I have weak ankles so the stiff rise is an asset for me and not uncomfortable. It does inhibit ankle flexion, but that is the intention. Much as I wanted them to work, the arch support does not accommodate my foot shape. My feet start aching after a short time. Need something that is serviceable to wear all day. Will be returning for this reason.

Good fit except tight in the bunion area which is why I returned them. Otherwise, a great, well made boot.

Great, supportive boots but a full size too big. First ordered size 9.5 and then returned for size 9. Still too big. A lot of heel slippage. Was concerned that the 8.5 would be too short for my toes. Returned the size 9 and gave up. But this is a well constructed boot with great arch support. For those who can find a fit, it would be (I think) a very comfortable boot.

These felt narrow on me, and for the price, I'm hopeing to find a better fitting boot. My pinky toe wasn't really happy, and I know that will be exacerbated in the stirrups. I really liked that it was waterproof so I was really willing these to be perfect. For me, the arch support sort of fell crooked to where my foot actually arches. So the footbed arch and my foot's arch weren't in the same place. While that, and the very stiff ankle may have been solved by some breaking in, it's hard for me to gamble on the issues being solved by breaking in. Ultimately I didn't want to deal with both the weird arch support and narrowness for the time it would take to hope i could break it in. Heel-to-toe they fit my normal size, but they don't appear to come in wide widths.

Leather was stiff; chaffed around my ankle. A little too wide for my AA feet.

I really like the look of these boots. A little rugged, but not too much; a good style between casual and dressy, and mostly comfortable for all day wear and walking around (I bought in advance of a vacation with a LOT of walking planned). The downside, as other reviewers have also noted, is the they are very stiff around the ankle at the top of the boot. I have been wearing them partially unzipped and that has worked well. The footbed part is very comfortable and with socks that come up higher than the boot, and leggings that tuck in, they have been okay. I hope the leather losens up a little and they become more comfortable in time, but even still, I'm pretty happy with this purchase.

Although a little stiff at the top (I don't zip them up all the way), these are great boots. My feet are narrow, so my regular size (10) is perfect with socks that aren't too thick. Keep in mind that the toe box is slim. It's winter right now, and they fill the gap with some of my shorter pants to keep me warm. I'm completely satisfied.

When I first tried them on, they felt very snug. I have a narrow foot and very skinny ankles, so I was fine with the fit. After wearing them a few times, they loosened up a bit and now I can even fit an insole inside! I love having a versatile boogie that is waterproof and warm. I like to travel to places that sometimes have rainy weather and these will definitely come in handy.

The quality of these boots was what you'd expect from Ariat. I was looking for an upgraded look from my old lace-up pair, so I gave these a try. I have a wide foot, and these felt OK, I think they would have loosened up with use to work for me. The problem I had was the circumference of the ankle opening and the height of the shaft. It looked pretty small in pictures, but there are 2 gussets, and I compared the shaft measurement to my leg before ordering. Nope. Not gonna happen, I could barely get them zipped, much less walk in them when I did. Too high up on my calf, too tight at the top. Returning these to look for another style. If you have slim calves, these might work for you.

This was my second try (in size) with these boots. While they are waterproof and have a good snow tread, I just found them a little too clunky. They did fit in my "usual" size of 9 ½ but they were 100% comfortable. I do think they are cute.

I think these boots are super cute. I ordered them in a 10 (seems to be my go to size in boots) but these were too big. Seemed like a lot of extra leather on the top of the foot which made it uncomfortable. I am going to try them in a 9.5. I like the double zipper--only one of them zips, other purely decorative. I want these to work because the sole has much better traction and they are waterproof. I am also comparing them to the Ariat Paddock which fits really well (except for a touch snug in the ankle), but it isn't waterproof nor does it have the snow tread sole.
