Nice boots. I usually wear an 8.5-9 and ordered the 9 (in Java) for my high arches, which fit fine. The lace up design works for me due to "athletic calves" I keep seeing referred to in these reviews. Love the color.

These are my favorite boots! so comfortable and super warm. I bought these on clearance at a local tack shop, so well-worth the discounted price I paid. I would highly recommend these to anyone looking for a waterproof, warm boot. Wore these several hours in a covered arena for pony club's winter camp and was toasty warm where other parents were complaining about their cold feet.

Bought these in advance of a trip to Iceland 9/2018 where I knew the weather would be unpredictable we’d be doing a lot of trekking on different in different terrain. While they are slightly heavy, and only slightly IMO, these were my go-to boots the whole trip. Super comfy right out of the box, no rubbing or blisters, and very well made. Kept my feet warm and dry, easy to get on and off, and they were great for in the city, and out in the more remote areas too. Very pleased.

Great boot! Fit true to size, very comfortable and beautifully crafted. Smart, classic style. Was worried the boot would be too tight for my "athletic" calves but they just fit. As they say, you get what you pay for. It was a hard decision but decided to return them over another boot which was a bit "easier" on my pocketbook.

I live in Arizona but got these for an upcoming trip to Seattle. I haven't tried them in rain/cold yet, but so far they are super comfy! Warm and sturdy. I wear a size 5.5 - 6 and the 6 fits great. I'm 5'1, 110lbs with an athletic build and sometimes have a hard time fitting boots over my calves, so I love that these lace up. Can't wait to wear them around Seattle!

I love the arch support these boots have. I have thin feet with high arches and my ankles can roll a bit if I don’t have good support. The heals are a bit loose but I think they might work out for me. They are a bit stiff at first. I will wear them around the house to break them in. I love that I can lace them as tight as I would like them to be. They will be great in the snow. I would have preferred a tan boot but I just can’t the support I am looking for.

I have always loved Ariat boots. My normal size is 10.5 and I went up to an 11 to allow for thicker socks and an added insole. The boot ended up being too big, but mainly in the heel area. The width of the heel and the whole back of the boot from the heel up to mid calf seems too big in relation to the width of the front/toe of the boot so it's hard to judge the overall fit. The front/toe part fit my foot well. I have narrow to medium width feet and the toe area is just wide enough. I may try them again in a 10.5 because they seemed so comfortable otherwise.

These boots were too heavy for me - felt like I was walking around with ankle weights. Also dug into my ankle.

These seem to be rugged, warm boots - just what I was looking for in a sturdy winter boot. However, they were too narrow for me and also seemed too clunky to be comfortable. Alas, my winter boot search continues ....

I’m sure these would be very functional in inclement weather. Though nice looking, I found them kind of boring for the price, and I would definitely lose patience lacing these up every time. The main drawback was that they felt very tight and narrow and I’m not sure how much they’d relax with wear. Will be returning.

I had a pair of ariat boots that I absolutely loved and was hoping to replace them with a newer version. These have extremely thick soles which make the whole boot feel overly clunky. The arch support in these seems a bit high for me as well, but they could break in ok. These boots are a bit higher than a tradiitonal paddock boot which I didn't mind, but the extra lacing made them cumbersome and even though the laces are extremely long, they just barely laced up over my calves. The brown is darker than pictured... comes off as pretty boring. All in all the boot falls into a form over function category which is disappointing as I don't think they're that stylish.
