Fit is tight in the toe box and loose everywhere else. The upper is unlined, but the foot part is lined. So they run hot. The pair I do have are very sturdy, look great, are on the heavy side and stable footed. The same brand, style, and size did not fit. It is hard to find in the stores, so I went with another brand.

Amazing leather, great boot, wish it fit! I returned the boot, because even though I ordered the size I wear for everything else, it was way too big for me. Not sure if it runs big, or my other stuff runs small. The boot was beautiful, though, and once I find some sizing guidance, I'll probably reorder in a size I can wear. I've never been wow'd before by a boot, but these did that. Well worth it if you get the sizing right.

Bought these boots to replace my daily work boots. I am on my feet 10-15 hours a day and my feet don't hurt.

I have worn these for a number of years. They're comfortable and hold up well. I had to exchange for a larger size.Ariat handled it well.

These boots met every requirement I had but I couldn't find any local to try on. I ordered the size I normally wear and they didn't fit. I spoke with a customer service agent and they recommended the same size but in a wide. I initiated the exchange process and waited. The boots came in and upon first putting them on, they seemed like a good choice. That's where it stops. Unfortunately, their return policy doesn't allow for actual wear so you never get a full feel of how the boot will fit. Specifically, these boots are a wide everywhere except the one place they needed to be, the toe box. If they weren't steel toe, I wouldn't worry since I know they would stretch but given the steel toe, I'm stuck with a pair of boots that I can't wear. Outside of the sizing issue, they are very well made and I wish I could wear them but my smashed toes say otherwise.

Good quality boots, but the size recommender is not really accurate. These boots are pretty tight still causing blisters on the heels. and since I have big feet, they're way too tight around the toes next time I'll just stick with square toe. As well as definitely try a pair at the store before buying.

If you're between normal and wides, order wides. They are very tight and not stretching out.

They aren't as comfortable as my old boots, which had been re-soled at least twice and are no longer made. These seem a little bigger than Justin Boots, their 10-1/2 E fits my foot better and these are a little looser than I'd like, but going down a 1/2 size is too tight. I'm worried these are going to give me blisters or chafe, and if they do I'll return them. I'm hoping they will break in over a week or so and be fine but I certainly don't love them. It's a hassle to find black steel toe cowboy boots though, I whish these were offered in a square toe.

I'm a big fan of Ariat. I own a pair of Stockman and Ramblers, both of which fit perfectly and feel comfortable all day long. I work as a Firefighter and wanted to bring that comfort to work with these, but they don't fit me well. They look good and felt ok in my living room, but after 14 hours on my feet the pressure of the steel toe against my big toe is uncomfortable and the fit feels sloppy. Bummer I can't swap them out! Make sure you wear them around your house for a while before you decide to wear them outside.

Nice looking boot, would have liked it if it wasn't too narrow. I knew instantly these wouldn't work for me because my outer toes were cramped and I ordered the EE wide. I have wide feet and I always order EE and a half size big and these were still too small. otherwise felt and looked like nice durable boots but I had to return.

My husband wears a 14EE wide sonics hard to find good boots in his size. These boots look great but unfortunately do not fit true to size. They seem to run about a size smaller.

Shoes advertised as being comfortable, but they are most uncomfortable. My job has me on my feet all day, so I bought them. My feet are hurting from the discomfort and I now deeply regret making the puchase.

And the Last!! I had to special order a pair as the local store doesn't carry my size - 7.5 EE. So I was not able to try them on first. Whenthey came in Iput themon andwas amazed at how narrowthey were.I have tried on D's that were wider than these. From now on I'll stick with Red Wings as they fit me properly every time. Live and learn.

I own a pair of Ariat Heritage Ropers that I'm very pleased with so i thought I'd replace my Redwings with a pair of Sierras, what a mistake, wet feet on thesecondday, rubber on the soles chippedoff from usinga shovel, then the soles started coming away from the boot, I killed them in 2 in a half months (I get about 18 months to 2 years out of Redwings) plus it took the longest time of ANY boot I've ever owned to break in
