I really liked these booties, but the heels are falling apart within one month of wear. I'm so sad and conflicted. I'm not sure what went wrong, because I tried to take care of them and haven't even worn them that much, but you would not guess that by the look of them! Definitely I'd call my experience 'within the realm of normal use' and yet these shoes will be completely destroyed within 6 months (if I'm lucky to have them that long). Looking at the soles, I'm thinking to myself "was I only supposed to wear these shoes indoors"? I splurged on these hoping that they would last me years. Only buy these boots if you have $200 to waste.

I have had the same experience as Megan (Zappos Customer, September 20, 2019)! The heals are completely worn down after less than average use. I purposefully rotate my shoes daily, and purchased the dark brown version of this shoe in February 2019. Despite spending so much money on these boots, their quality remains disappointingly low.

I have a slightly boxy 8-9M foot, and do best in shoes with wider toe boxes like Paul Green and Gentle Souls. I wear an 8 in those sizes, an 8.5 inmost others, a 39 in Rag and Bone, and a 9 in almost all pointy toes. My recommended size was 8, which surprised me but turned out to be exactly right. I had ordered a number of other pair at the same time, and figured I'd throw these in. I didn't expect to step into them and feel *amazed* at the comfort. With no break in I wore them on a trip that involved a lot of walking. Zero problems, all comfort. They look great in rust suede. I am now a huge Kork-ese fan and am about to order another pair.

Super cute shoe. Very comfortable with nice arch support. The front toe box could be a problem if your feet are really wide.

These are very comfortable, but a bit noisy when walking. It's as though the insole isn't adequately adhered to the sole...and it creates a squeaky noise while walking. I love everything else about this shoe...and I think I'm keeping them, but that is one feature that could be improved.

These shoes are a great combination of cute and cool. Perfect with skinny jeans and providing the winter coverage I need here in Wyoming (I'm otherwise in my ballet flats with skinny jeans, and those don't work in the snow). The grey suede will work well with most of my clothes. I had never heard of Kork-Ease before finding the brand on Zappos, but will definitely check them out for future purchases.

Fit was great. Very comfortable. Unfortunately after only wearing three times the soles are already breaking down along the edges. I’m worried these shoes won’t last long and for the price this shouldn’t be an issue

I absolutely love these boots. The only problem is the sole came apart after 2 winters of wear. Does anyone have advice about how to go about getting these fixed?

I was skeptical when I first tried these on- they are super roomy in the heel (my heel slips quite a bit), and they are narrower in the toe box. Some reviewers mentioned that they went down a size to address this issue, but I felt like the length was perfect and a smaller size would be too tight. They also felt stiff, like they might not be easy to walk in. But, they are absolutely beautiful boots in person, and I Iove the look of them. I almost sent them back based on how they fit/felt on me feet, but I ended up deciding to try them out because I couldn't find any booties that I liked the look of as much. They ended up being comfortable when wearing all day- I threw on a thicker no-show sock to take up more room in the heel- they still slip a little, but not enough to be bothersome when walking. The toe box is not narrow enough to cause discomfort (unlike some of my other booties that are painful by the end of the day) and they have already become less stiff and feel more broken in after just one wear.

Love these boots, wore them all fall and still wear them any day the midwestern winter permits. They are great everyday shoes that make casual outfits a little cuter. Moderate to low arch support, but I still find them comfortable enough to walk and be on my feet all day. No breaking in period required. Only discomfort is after walking fast in them for an extended period of time, feet ached a little the next day.

These booties are incredibly comfortable and supportive. I am between a size 8.5 and a 9 and I found the 8.5 in these to fit perfectly with room for a light-to-medium weight sock. Highly recommended shoe for fall, mild winter, and spring weather.

Fit was near perfect. I wear a 9.5 and bought a 9.5. I wear low gym socks in them and they do not show. There is a small amount of slippage in the heel but not enough to not keep them. Thinking they will stretch to mold my feet in a few wears and the heels will be fine. I bought the taupe. It is a tad lighter than the photo but very nice. Well constructed, heavy zipper, expensive, but for me, the low heel (I'm 5'10") and super cute style were worth it.

The shoe is beautiful and fits well but I am less than pleased with the durability of the sole. I wore them for 2 days, including wearing them when I rode my commuter bike, and the leather on the sole began to peel off and continues to peel off. I contacted the company and they claimed that was normal wear and tear and suggested I not ride my bike, which I suppose is good advice but disappointing. I am a professional, practical person who often uses my bike to travel between meetings. Next time I am in the market for stylish but durable shoes I will likely not purchase a pair of Kork-Ease.

Love these boots. New to this brand but am really happy. I usually struggle to find a cross over bootie that is casual enough without being too casual. This one fits the bill for me. Super easy to get on and off. Fit is comfortable. Will be buying other colors.

This is a very nice boot, great quality and nice look. True to size and well made. A little masculine, but snazzy. A tad on the narrow side, and I needed something with a pure rubber sole, though these do have rubber pads on the sole, not quite hardy enough for Montana winters.

According to the size chart and the assistant chart I wore a size 11 but I have worn the Ryder boot three times and they are way too big. I normally wear a 10 1/2 which limits me with companies because not many out there make size 10 1/2. So now I am wondering whether I should go to the 10 if I get another pair because I certainly like the style. My finger indicates the END OF MY TOE when standing!!

I wish I could have kept these shoes!. The fit was wonderful, the leather is beautiful and very high quality with beautiful stitching, the problem is in the way I am built. I hav very thick ankles and calves, and as a result the upper part of the boot rubs my lower ankle as I walk. For girls with normal sized ankles these should not be problematic.

Cute boot. I love the brown color. I ordered my usual size 8.5 and the boot felt a little too loose since I wear thin socks with them. If you wear thicker socks it is fine. However I almost sent these back. The adhesive they used to glue down the insole sticks when you step down, but when you lift your foot, the adhesive separates noisily and it feels like you are walking around on fly paper. So I cut an additional insole out of a supple leather and added it between the original insole and the bottom and it solved the problem. The leather also helped the boot fit better and I added an additional layer of leather under my arch since I felt the arch support not as cushioned as I was hoping. I really like the style, but a shoe this expensive should not need these alterations.

I normally wear a 7.5 or an 8. I ordered the 8's in these, but they slipped on my heel a bit, so I ordered the 7.5's as well, which were extremely too small. I decided to keep the 8's because I liked the shoe, but after just a few wears, the sole was completely scratched and looked like I had been wearing them for months. Overall, the shoes are cute, but for close to $200, this shoe should be dang near perfection (which it is not).

I bought the gray leather version of these. They felt true to size for me. I love Kork-Ease as a brand and own several styles from them. Like my other Kork-Ease, these were SUPER comfy and oh-so-cute. Unfortunately, they didn't live up to the quality of the other styles I own. After only one wear, the bottoms were coming off. Thankfully, Zappos is awesome and took them back, but I'm super bummed.

I loved these boots. They were comfortable, stylish, and versatile. I wore them regularly, and I received many compliments on them. However, the soul is coming unglued and I can tell it's going to fall off entirely soon. I bought them less than 6 months ago. They're $200+ boots, so they should certainly last more than one year!

I love these and they have great support, absolutely beautiful leather. I sent back the first pair for a half size smaller. I am a true 7.5 and have rarely bought smaller but these had to be bought one size smaller and I am wearing them with thin socks.
