The fit and size are just about right. If anything they are a little big. They are comfortable for me to wear. I am diabetic and have burning feet so I'm picky with my shoes. These get an A from me.

Good looking boot - i usually wear size 11 but reading reviews I ordered a 10.5. They fit great even with a little extra room - wider than most D width.. nice leather fits good

1st the shoes...showed up looking exactly as pictured which does not always happen with "distressed" leather. They run pretty big. Depending on brand, I'm usually 10.5/11. Tried the 11 first HUGE..ended up in a size 10 that is a good fit. I ordered these shoes because they looked like they would be comfortable to wear w/ jeans and don't look like hardcore outdoorsy hikers. The midsole one these rascals is kinda squishy and it makes them comfy beyond my hopes. Material quality and build is excellent, period, so at this price, I was very pleased. The trial and error on the sizing part of the order was even better than the product. talked to 2 people who were super helpful and pleasant. Zappos does it right!

First of all Zappos is amazing. I couldn't find a shoe for the summer and went through 8 shoes before finding this gem. I'll buy my shoes from Zappos without hesitation because of their insane customer support and return policy. Zappos understands that everyone's foot is different and that it may take many shoe try ons before you find that perfect shoe that fits! This shoe is amazingly comfortable. I know the style isn't going to score you points in Italy, but the comfort and suppleness of this shoe is truly easy on the foot. I also don't know what Ariat did for their soles, but it's 'cushy' and very supportive. Dare I say it's almost like walking on foam? The fit of the shoe was very nice. I have a very difficult time finding shoes because my shoe size is 7.5 EE. This shoe is comfortable and good enough for around town and casual dining. Ariat always made great Roper boots but they did a fine job on this shoe. Will buy this again!

Great looking shoe and fit great . I usually wear size 11 wide - I bought these in a 10.5 D width and they fit perfect and really fit like a wide shoe to me . Love the look and comfort. Nice overall boot

My husband loves these shoes! He said they were as comfortable as his slippers. The style really suits him, only wish other colors were in stock.

After a recent bout of foot pain and a visit to the podiatrist I was told I needed to wear my boots less and find a shoe with more support for my feet. I love my Ariat cowboy boots and really wanted to like these. Like many of the reviews suggested I ordered a full size smaller. I usually wear a size 10.5 in Ariat boots, but the 10 in these still felt big and the 9.5 was about right. I still wasn't a fan of the fit. There wasn't much arch support and the heel felt sloped towards the inside of my foot, almost like it had collapsed or worn in, but these were brand new shoes. I ended up going with the Twisted X Chukka Driving Moc. A lot of reviewers said they felt like the Ariat Spitfire offered more arch support and were more comfortable than the Twisted X, but I found the opposite to be true. If you're torn between these and the Twisted X, give both a try! Zappos makes it easy to order both, find out what works for you, and return the pair that doesn't.

I bought a 9.5 & it was too large. I guess the brand is a full size cut. Very nice product.
