I bought these to replace my old black canvas Belmonts, which fell apart after 8 months of vigorous use. I thought I'd get these instead of the black canvas, to try something a little different; unfortunately, the fabric on these was weird and didn't suit my style at all. It does look nice, it just had more of a sheen than I expected. Overall the Belmont is a decent shoe, especially for people like me who prefer sneakers to boots but are looking for a cleaner look.
