To put this purchase in context: We travel frequently both locally and internationally and are always looking for was to pack less items. This is especially important when it comes to shoes. For winter, I limit myself to ankle boots, a slip on, and crocs (to be used as houseshoes, etc.) I do not have the perfect feet. After years of running and abuse, I am left with bunions, etc. Still, I want to look as stylish as possible when I am traveling and I do not like wearing running shoes for travel. When I picked these shoes, I was looking for a shoe that I could use for sightseeing, but could also be used in the hotel gym in lieu of regular running shoes. These shoes are cute and have style (My husband even commented!) and can multitask. The zipper is a great feature in that it can be opened for more room, if needed (especially good on long flights). I would not run in these shoes, but I would walk, lift weights, use the rowing and stair master machines and be comfortable. If you have problem feet and are looking for a comfortable shoe, i would recommend trying the ECCO Soft 7 Zip.

Easy, comfy sneakers! I love ECCO brand and this shoe is no exception. True to ECCO sizing. I wear 8-8.5 in other brands and purchased size 39. These have a thick, cushioned footbed with almost a mini wedge inside. No break in period needed. I purchased the blue and plan to order the black if they ever go on sale.

Yay, it fits! This is the 9th pair of sneakers I have tried and something finally fits both of my feet! I thought I needed a lace up but this zip up is working out well. No slippage anywhere, I can wear them with socks, a little big without, and good arch support. No seam at the toes did the trick.

I really like these shoes! They fit my 11-11 1/2 size foot very well, are quite comfortable, and look nice and sporty. They have moderate support.

these shoes are really cute, but the don't have a nonslip bottom and felt a little too wide for my foot. Im getting hip replacement surgery and really needed the nonslip bottom.

Cute shoe but doesn't have the heel support that I need. The similarly-styled booty works much better for me.

These are too squeaky. They're too expensive to keep not knowing if the squeaks will go away.

Fabulous shoe.This shoe is not only sooo comfty but so very good looking..I own several of this shoe with the lace version but once I saw the zip model I just had to buy a couple pairs.Great investment and I get compliments every time I wear them.Will be purchasing again in new colors and probably one more black as a backup.

These shoes are so, so comfortable! And they are stylish enough that I splurged and bought two pair - one blue and one black. I wear them constantly and get many complements on how stylish they are. So glad I came across these great shoes!

Wore it right out of the box to trip on Ireland. Very comfortable. Looks great.

This shoe is perfect for my high arched, arthritic feet and one foot is nearly a half size larger; very comfortable, true to size (for BOTH feet), stylish. Took them out of the box and wore them all day long with no discomfort. ECCO shoes have proven to be a lifesaver for my feet. Highly recommend!

Read other reviews that said these ran large, so I ordered my usual size and they're so small I have to send them back for a larger size. Really nice shoes, though. Just can't squeeze my feet into them!

I love these shoes! They are incredibly comfortable, really cute, a perfect shade of blue--go with navy but are a light navy so don't look heavy despite being that nubuck rather than a plain leather. I am thrilled with them--have wanted shoes other than black to run around in on the weekend. Eccos are the best shoe for me. I wear a size 9 and once in a while a 9 1/2 in other brands and the Ecco size 40 fits me perfectly 99% of the time. Couldn't find this color at the Ecco store but here it was on Zappos!

Love these shoes but my feet didn’t...no fault of the shoes. I just have some foot problems. I do recommend them, well made, true to size and very comfortable.

Disappointed in the sizing of Ecco sneakers unless they are lace ups. I wear either 8 1/2 or 9. The 39 is too short. Size 40 causes heel slippage.

Love, love these shoes. I got both the black and the blue because they are so great. They are comfortable and stylish. I wore them to walk all around Paris and was quite comfortable. I even got a compliment from the woman in the Ecco store there. They would be a bit floppy without socks, but since I view them as winter shoes, I'll never wear them without socks and thus they fit well.

During the foot movement of walking, the toe-bed top pushed into my foot. Maybe my arch is to high for this shoe. Foot bed is soft and easy to get on. This lightweight shoe would have been perfect except for the top. It even fit my wide foot.

I avoid lace shoes so when I see a good zip or slip on, I try. These are super comfy and cool looking - fab with jeans. I am an ECCO regular, so had to try and keep these. Love they came in dark blue.

I have a medium/wide foot and need to put in custom arch supports for plantar fascitiis and heel spurs. I walked around Rome for 4 days on cobblestones and they were perfectly comfortable. I did put my inserts on top of the insert that came with the shoes since mine are only 3/4 length and I needed some ball of foot cushion. They squeak a little bit and on and off but other than that, they are great! They were European sneakers with comfort. You can wipe them off if they get dirty. Loved that I could unzip them a little bit if my feet were a little swollen.

These shoes are classy. I had to return them though as they were a bit small. I would have ordered a bigger size but they don’t make them bigger.

I wear an 11m. I own many Ecco shoes and sometimes they are a 1/4 size smaller (if that) than I would like. The 12m is too big so somehow I've made them work. Just don't wear thick socks. I really like Ecco. They have so many styles, and last a long time. I'm obsessed with athleisure shoes and I can alway find one with this brand.

Slightly narrow.

I love these shoes! As others noted the toe is somewhat narrow, but it is comfortable. I had trouble zipping the shoes all the way up, but then I realized that they are like tightening shoestrings. You only zip them as far as you need and then the zipper stays in place. For me, I zip them about halfway up and they feel great.

Have problem feet and was so glad to find these shoes!! I especially love that they have a zipper!! Makes it so much easier to get on and off!! They are also great looking on!! Looking forward to buying more of them!! Have been looking a long time for great fitting and comfortable shoes!! Thank you Ecco!!

Very comfortable and I have an impossible time finding shoes that my feet don't hurt in. They are also very nice looking.
