They fit well enough and I liked that the insole was removable and I could put in my orthotics. I didn't like the material that the platform wedge was made out of. It was too plastic and shiny. So I am returning them.

If...IF YOU CAN GET YOUR HEEL in this bootie you’re good, but I’m thinking “Am I willing to struggle with these boots every time I wear them??? Of course, after I got them on they were a perfect 11, what I ordered. They’re extremely comfortable, except for the weird problem with the left heel structure inside the boot. Something is off and I don’t know what it is!! This is a BIG FAT BUMMER,because I’m extremely hard to fit, and these fit once I got them on. I’ve never encountered any shoe or boot with this issue. Perhaps it’s the design. The zipper should be longer so the bootie could open up more. Not sure. Never designed a shoe!The booties are a classy casual, and the gunmetal color is awesome. I sure wish this bootie didn’t have the zipper problem. Back to the drawing board. I now order 4 at a time, in order to speed up the process of finding some booties that will fit?!!

I bought my normal size for this brand, but could barely squeeze my foot into the shoe. There’s something weird about how the zipper is placed. Even when I got my foot in there, it just was not a very flattering shoe.

I typically wear a size 9.5-10 but this was very tight all the way around. Returning and trying a size up.

I reordered the size 37 after I found my usual size (38) too large. Reading reviews, I found that this sizing issue was common. What is weird though, is that my left foot, which is slightly larger than my right, fits into the 37 perfectly, whereas my smaller right foot finds the 37 a trifle short. I'm working on stretching the leather... So...good luck with sizing on this one, but ultimately this is a super comfortable bootie that is worth the trouble.

I love this bootie. I wear a 7.5 and ordered that size (38) but it looked huge and felt sloppy. I suppose I could have used an insert, but instead I ordered the 37 and although it does rub the top of my toe, I think it will stretch with wear. Thank you, Zappos for your fabulous return policy so that my hard to fit feet can be comfy and stylish!

Really nice. I wear a 7.5 and got a 38 and they are a bit big but I am going to put insoles in them and see if that fixes the issue. Wore them on a 1.5 mile walk and were as comfortable as sneakers.

About 4 or 5 months ago, I'd purchased these boots in Mushroom. I take a size 9 ~90% of the time, so I ordered a size 9 (9-9.5/40), and they fit well. They were so comfortable and I loved them so much that when I saw the shoes had gone on sale in black, I pounced and bought them, naturally in the same size. The crazy thing is, when I got them and tried them on (perfunctorily), to my surprise they were huge! They were so large they felt like my feet were swimming in them. I compared them sole to sole with my other pair, and it was not my imagination - they were larger. They were so loose, I couldn't even think of keeping them. I exchanged them for the size below (8-8.5/39), and lo and behold they fit and their soles matched up with the soles of my Mushroom size 9. I can only guess that there had been a production issue that resulted in different sizing outcomes for the different colors. It's still bizarre to have the same shoe in two different sizes. So while I would say the Mushroom were true-to-size, the Black definitely run large.

These boots are very comfortable. The black is not shiny but matte. As I have worn them, they get a slight patina look which make them even more muted. They are a go to boot for me when rainy weather or just to be comfortable. I need good arch support and for the weight of my foot to be distributed away from the ball of my foot- and these do a great job with both! So heel height is just right. I can wear my normal shoe size in these with normal winter socks (not really heavy ones). I would definitely recommend if you need some foot comfort!

These boots fit me perfectly-- not too narrow, and not too wide-- and are amazingly comfortable! My new go-to shoes for teaching/lecturing. The leather does get scuffed easily-- soft, good quality-- will use some waterproofing or other treatment on them.

I am between sizes 6 1/2 and 7, typically falling into the 7 size. I ordered size 38 (7 - 7.5) and they were pretty sloppy on me. My daughter who is a solid size 8 tried them on and they fit her perfectly. I returned those and re-ordered the 37 (6 - 6.5) and those are perfect on me. I wanted something stylish and comfortable for endless walking around NYC and these are ideal! I love the height and they are so comfortable, was able to walk miles and my feet felt great. I agree with the other reviews that there is a bit of a struggle to get your foot in due to tightness around the heel, but once it is in, they are just fine. I also experienced some tightness where my toe met the front of the shoe, but I wore them around home on the carpet and after a bit, that tightness lessens as they break in. Absolutely would recommend, but if in between sizes, I would size down. For reference, I wear a 7 Nike, Addidas, Sorels and Ugg and a 37 Birkenstock.

I really like these boots. I’m a teacher and on my feet all day so I need something that’s comfortable and versatile. These fit the bill!

These feel so comfortable. Planning to take them to end of March/early April European trip. I have a narrow foot; typically wear 8N; this fit well enough in a size 38

Can’t say enough positive about this shoe, Skyler Wedge Bootie. Been wearing a black pair for several years. Don’t want to wear any other of my “good” shoes. Ordered the gray shoes because they were on a nice sale. They fit perfectly and I like the taupy gray color for a change. A Keeper.

So soft and comfortable!

Love these! Super comfortable out of the box, look good (not fancy tho) and can wear with all kinds of clothing. Wish they were waterproof but I sprayed them and it seemed to work. Highly recommend.

If you're in between sizes, read this: These booteis are super comfortable - soft uppers and padding, very supportive - and sporty looking. I could walk all day in them EXCEPT they're too small. I normally wear 11.5 but the 42s are definitely solid size 11 (some tend towards the 11.5 range). I could probably make the length work but they're very narrow as well so it's a no go overall. Very sad to have to return these.

These boots are amazing. I have a very hard time finding shoes. My heels are on the narrow side, but I have really long toes and thus I need a wider toe box. These were fantastic. I love the arch support; it's perfect. I bought them in gray, and loved them so much, that I just bought a second pair in black. Highly recommend.

This booties are extremely comfortable, good arch support; absence of seams on the top front makes for no rubbing on the toes. Same absence of seams makes the front look somehow unfinished, not sure this is a good style to wear with skirts, but wonderful with pants. I wear 7,5, usually 38 in ECCO, got 38.

I was looking for comfortable, supportive boots that would look good with jeans and these do the trick! They are extremely supportive and comfortable, I feel like I will be able to walk in them for hours.

Love these although they run a bit large. I could wear them immediately, no break in needed. The sole is thick, so good for walking in the city. However, if you are looking for a very stylish bootie, these are not the ones. They hover between style and functional thanks to the thick sole. Great arch support which I require.

These shoes fit beautifully the minute I put them on my feet. I have inserts from my podiatrist that I wear for my arches, but I did not need them in these shoes. The leather quality and stitching of the shoe is rich and seamless. I like the sleek nature of the boot, as it is not bulky or wide like my Vionic boots. I have several pairs of Ecco side zip sneaker booties (in navy, gray, black and brown), but these definitely look dressier without sacrificing the comfort of those shoes. I will say that I found this exact same boot on Amazon cheaper than Dillards or Zappos, but I would not have had the customer service or ability to send them back for free if they had not worked out. So, I really appreciate Zappos for that.

I usually wear an 8.5, sometimes a 9. Ecco Skyler in size 39 fits my narrowish, slightly high-arched foot perfectly, and these are as comfortable my Ecco leather sneakers. I'm not sure I like the look of the back part of the ankle being lower, but I love the buttery-soft leather, the arch support, the wedge heel and the overall comfort. The inner ankle is lined in soft leather, which feels very nice.

I have problem feet with need for a good arch support and not too high of a heel. These boots are great! I love them with jeans and pants. The top front of the boot on my right foot (larger foot) was a little too tight the first day I wore them, but quickly after a day of wear was just right. I can wear these all day and there are very few shoes that I can do that with. I often wear Danskos, Birkenstock and Taos. I am now adding Ecco to the group. Ecco, please make even more shoes that are a little dressy and not so casual. Thank you Zappos for great service as always.
