I have difficult feet. I've had bunion surgery on my left foot, a bunion on my right foot, very high arches, suffered many stress fractures and broken toes, and plantar faciitis. That being said, it is extremely hard for me to find shoes that I can wear. I ordered this shoe with the thought I will have to stick an arch support in them. Today they arrived and are comfortable out of the box!!! I cannot wait to wear them and hope to order other colors soon.

Comfy. Like comfort-brand comfy based on good solid construction and I am guessing a medium-density thick foam footbed. Most shoes have low-density foam that doesn't last. They are heavy for sandals and just feel very well made. They ran a bit big.

Most comfortable heel I have ever purchased. It is the one shoe that when I travel and have to figure out that one "heel" that will go with the dress and I can walk the city to get to dinner and stand at a cocktail party and my feet not kill me...but go with a lot, so I am not stuffing my one carry on bag with loads of shoes. This is the one. It has taken me to LA for a girls weekend & France for a wedding & NYC to dinner and walking....it is super neutral and comfortable. Works with jeans or dresses. I love it for the versatility and comfort. I tend to loosen the upper strap which helps with walking. I just bought my second pair. I can't say I have every purchased a shoe twice. Who has time for that? But, this one I am doing only b.c I have had this pair for a year and 1/2. It just needs a refresher!

I normally wear a size 5 narrow but could not find this shoe in a 5 so ordered the 5.5. I also need additional arch support and wear an orthotic in most of my shoes. This shoe felt true to size which was slightly loose at the width. A Dr. scholltz for heels corrected this problem at the toe. The wider, softer foot base provides excellent support and additional help is not needed. I have not worn this shoe yet but love it and it feels great out of the box.

It’s very stylish and sexy. Very comfortable, I wore it for a overseas trip, a lot of walking in the city, it felt great. I usually wear size 6.5 I bought 6 based on some of the review, it’s still a little big. I got nude color first and loved it so much and just bought black one .

Wish it fit, was uncomfortably narrow for my feet. I was hoping beyond hope to replace a favorite pair from years ago... Please explain to me, because I don't understand, why the strap loop is in tan on a black sandal.

I was expecting to not like these shoes as much as I did because I didn’t want a chunky heel for the dress I would be wearing with these shoes. However, once they arrived I was won over by the color of the material and the great workmanship. I have bought Gentle Souls before and have never been disappointed. The only reason for the 4-Star rating is because width is a bit too snug on me and, as I said, I’m not a fan of chunky heels. I do have wide feet and purchase wide width whenever I can. I really don’t know why Gentle Souls doesn’t offer wide widths. There is absolutely a market for wide shoes that are stylish.

Very nice fit and covered by bunion perfectly. Never sure about ankle straps, but these held my foot in place without being too loose or too tight.

This shoe has memory foam in the foot bed which make it very comfortable. And for an open-type shoe/sandal, it has a lot of support.

Love the style and 9.5M is a comfortable fit! My right foot is 9-3/4" long from heel to longest (2nd) toe, 3-3/4" wide at the widest point, and 2" at the widest part of my heel. The first time I wore them though, for about 4 hours, my pinkie toes on both feet rubbed a bit and I got some redness/beginnings of blisters, so I'll take preventative measures next time.

Gorgeous and comfortable sandal. The only reason I returned is because the thickness of the top strap made my legs look stocky (I have large calves). They are comfortable the moment you put them on. I stood on my carpet for about 20 min to see if they would stay comfy but they did! Gorgeous color too!

Absolutely beautiful shoes. Well made, with buttery soft leather. Nicely added insole. I ordered the 5.5, hoping it might fit, but my true size is 5, and it was a little big. So, I reluctantly sent them back. There was no size 5 available.

The sandals are definitely comfortable. They seemed to run about 1/2 size smaller than most sandals.

Great looking, contemporary look and comfortable shoe. Very soft pebbled leather toe strap and soft leather footbed with a nice cush. Luxurious is how i’d describe the feel. Ankle strap is good width proportion to toe strap and feels great. Fits a little wide. Classy shoe. Color is absolutely a neutral nude and goes with pants and dresses. This shoe can look dressed up or dressed down!!! I was pleasantly surprised. Quality is excellent and i’ll get several years out of these.

Very comfortable. The heel is high enough to be stylish but short (and blocky) enough to make wearing and walking easy.

These are really stylish shoes with great leather and a sophisticated buckle..everything about them was perfect except they pinched too much around the ball of my foot...so i had to return. I felt it would always be an issue, even if I had them stretched. But if you don't have a wide foot, I highly recommend. Super good looking.

Need size 9 typically but the didn’t have, tried smaller size but runs true to size. Extremely comfortable cushion sole, well made leather shoe.

They fit great - I usually wear a 91/2 which was out of stock so I tried the 9. Very comfortable- perfect heel- I usually wear flats, but needed dressy shoes for a wedding- love them!

I ordered a size 6 and when it arrived it was not in the original Gentle Souls box which told me someone else obviously sent it back. I tried them on and they were way too narrow for me and that NEVER happens because I have a narrow foot. I had to send them back. I did however order the Hazel 1 color from Amazon in a size 6 and they fit perfectly. I'm thinking that particular size 6 shoe was just mis-sized or something. It's a cute, comfortable shoe otherwise. If you have a wide foot it probably wouldn't work for you though.
