These shoes are So Cute/Cool - I Love the way they look and get lots of compliments on them. That said... I'm not really sure what the reviewers were thinking when 75% of them said these shoes had moderate arch support. There is No Support where your arch is. There Is a "bump" on the side of the insole next to where your arch is, but as far as actually supporting your foot, don't count on it. The insole is just a soft flat insole, minimally thicker on the heel, with a bump on the side of your arch (not under it). Disappointing. I got the taupe snake and they are awesome looking - simple and sleek definitely define it - and they don't look like you're trying too hard ; ) So my fix was to rip out the (stupid) insole that is glued into this shoe, and replace it with a Vionic insole -- NOW I've got a pair of awesomely comfortable, cool looking shoes that go with anything!

This is a nice looking shoe that is good in the professional workplace. The fit is okay; seems like this shoe is a little wider/looser than Aetrex shoes I've purchased in the past. The one thing that is lacking is arch support. I usually wear Aetrex brand because they provide excellent support and are great for walking. This one doesn't have that feel. I'll wear the shoes to work because I'm at a desk. I won't be wearing them to go shopping or for extended periods of walking.

I liked the look of the shoes very much. They have built-in Lynco orthotics, which I'd never worn before. They hit me at the wrong place, keeping these shoes from working for me. I am returning them.

Perfect shoe to wear at home when entertaining and you need something smart and comfortable.

Agree with the other reviews that the arch support takes some getting used to! It hits in a slightly odd place and since the shoe is on the looser side, your foot comes off/hits the arch as you walk. That said, they actually are comfy if you can get past the new feeling, and they look like a combination of an overgrown pair of TOMS and a really elegant slipper. Keeping them for casual days

I just got these and tried them on: very comfortable right away and they fit well. I got them in grey flannel and they kind of look like slippers. The arch support hits at just the wrong place- not immediately uncomfortable just strange but I think they will work well for my week of yoga retreat, so I'm keeping them

I bought this in the blush snake color. They are very cute and neutral enough to go with a lot of my lighter colored clothes. However, I don’t find them very comfortable. I’m a true size 7.5-8, and these are the first 38s that seem too short on me. The tip bumps right up on my big toe. And there’s no arch support. My feet hurt after wearing them all day. The shoes felt better with thin socks, making them okay if I don’t do a lot of walking.

I have a high instep and a bunion. These shoes felt very comfortable! However, the “Blush” color blended in with my skin and looked odd. I returned them and ordered a different color.

I have been very happy with how these shoes have handled pretty constant wear and now the raining season where I live. The patterned leather (taupe snake) hasn't worn down unevenly like previous shoes I have owned. I added an insert to provide more arch support and they are shoes I can wear all day.

I have had two knee replacements and a hip replacement - therefore, I am always looking for comfortable shoes that offer some support. I have been wearing Skechers Go Walk slip ons for some time, as I find the memory foam to be quite comfortable and easy to get on and off. However, they do not offer heel support, and the foam does tend to degrade over time. They are fine for around the house, but not for outdoor activities. I normally wear 9M in closed shoes, so I ordered size 40 but found them too big. I returned them for size 8.5 (39), and they fit perfectly. The black leather is soft, and the rubber bottoms offer good grip. They are mostly flat with some arch support. I wore them out for the first time today, and I am now a fan. I never once thought about my feet - they are that comfortable.

I liked these shoes, but they were just not comfortable on my feet. Unlike my Aetrex sandles, I don't think I could walk much in theses.

I was very disappointed with these shoes. I normally wear Aetrex shoes and this pair was not up to the usual good fit. they flopped all over on my foot making a noise as if I had bad gas. Unfortunately I wore them and they cannot be returned. I can not recommend them, but if you give them a try, make sure to walk around at home to make sure you don't have the same problem.

The size/width did not correlate with the Aetrex styles I now wear. I always wear (up to now) the same size and width in Aetrex shoes (10 M).. These were too wide and didn't align properly because they were also a half size too big. Getting a size 9 would not have solved the problem.

I bought the snakeskin. Incredibly comfortable. I wish I could keep them. What did not show up in the pictures is that they are shiny and sparkly. Sparkle shoes just not my thing. Also the sparkles make them seem more white than cream. I don't wear white shoes in the fall and winter. Just no.
