Customer Reviews Durango Lady Rebel 10" Western

I tried on my friend's boots, and while these were very comfortable, I felt the faux leather shafts ruined the boot. The size I wear fits in these (true to size), but a 3/4 insole helped make them more comfortable, they are not all that cushy in the foot. They are light weight like a tennis shoe so good for walking. I liked the rubber soles and low heel, the style which is classic western, and the colors, which are very attractive. But the only leather parts on these lady rebel boots: is the foot, pull tabs and top decoration; and that leather, while looking good in the pics, is very thin leather. They are advertised as "full grain leather" but it is not stated anywhere that this 'full grain leather' is paper thin. Also the fake leather shaft does not look good in person, it wrinkles easily, and feels and looks like cheap vinyl. So, while the comfort and style is very good, and they fit true to size (comfort is added, and more room for the toes, if you add a 3/4 insert), the overall rating I would give is 1 star b/c of the materials that are used, which look and feel cheap in person. Nice idea for these boots, but the very little thin leather used to make these does not warrant all the advertising that these are 'full grain leather!'

First time buying the Durango brand and they are super comfortable and very light weight

Great work boot. Had this brand previously and they lasted for two years of daily chores. Stiff at first (as all boots are) but break in well!
