Great fit. Perfect for Khakis. I work in an office and they look “dressy”.

There are very comfortable to wear and look great too. They are heavier than the Chukka boots I had before, but just as comfortable. We had a heavy rain here last week and I was pleasantly surprised to discover that these boots shed water with ease.

Just what I was looking for in terms of look and style - love the distressed grey. Followed the other reviews and went 1/2 size smaller than Id normally go (usually an 11 and ordered 10.5). Glad I did s. The fit seems about right and a full size down would be too much. Hoping they are well built because I do plan on wearing these often. I had some Born slip ons before and they lasted a long time. So far, I love these.

Worn the last two days and really like them. They look great and appear to be made well. Like everyone else, order a half-size smaller than what you are used to. The only minor regret is there isn’t a little more tread on the sole.

I wear a size 8 in sneakers and athletic shoes. However, these were too big and an 8 is the smallest size available. Too bad, because they were really good looking and comfortable boots.

I had to return them to get the 1/2 size smaller like other have stated. I have a High arch so when I buy shoes with a D width I buy a 1/2 size larger for the width. These shoes were on the snug side but broke in for me within a few days. These feel better than the OluKai boots they are replacing.

Like some others I had to get a 1/2 smaller, I ordered size 10 1st time around. I have a high arch which makes me order 1/2 size larger for extra width when ordering shoes with a D width. The width felt a little on the snug side but they broke in within a day or two. I'm very happy with this purchase.

Feel a little stiff right out of the box, but I’m sure they’ll break in nicely. I usually wear a 10.5. I ordered a 10 and they fit perfectly.

Bought these for my husband who has neuropathy and really needs comfortable shoes. These are very nice casual boots. Perfect for cold weather.

Great boot and great build and fit. But, it does run a half size larger. Normally wear a 12 and 11.5 fits me perfectly.

The shoes fit great and the styling is just what I wanted. Also, I ordered them late on a Monday afternoon and received them early Thursday afternoon! No extra charge on the shipping. Zappos is the best!

Nice comfortable boot. Quality materials. Usually wear a 12, but 11.5 fit perfect due to boot being a little on the wide side. Plenty of room in the toes.

First off, I don't really consider this a boot as in work in the fields or outdoor kind of work boot. It is definitely an office/style kind of boot. That is exactly what I was looking for. Something that was comfortable and could handle being on my feet all day on concrete/tile kind of flooring. I have only had these boots for two weeks but totally love the fit and the style of the boot. Comfortable right out of the box with zero issues and basically no break in period. As others have said, it runs a bit bigger and wider so keep that in mind. I ideally would fit into 12 1/2's is they made them on a normal basis so I usually buy a 13. After reading reviews, I bought a 12 and they are a perfect fit! I also have a thinner foot and these are fairly wide so my foot is very comfortable in them. The downside or con to the boot might be I am not sure how well they will hold up. After just the two weeks they are looking like they are months old. I got the rust color which is kind of a suede leather and I think that adds to the worn look. I like that look so I am good with it, but I am just not sure of the long term. I am five star rating these as of now, but if they don't hold up I might drop them down, but for now...excellent!

Just right for fall and a heavy sock. Sturdy but not ungiving.

I ordered this in "Taupe Distressed," and that is an accurate description of the color. They appear to be more tan to light brown in the image. Although I would have preferred the color in the image, I am still happy with them and am keeping them. The fit is excellent. I own several pair of Børn shoes and have found that they are exceptionally comfortable and offer great support. They run true to size. A great casual shoe for fall and winter.

I bought these boots for my husband. We actually bought a pair from a local outlet store years ago for him to wear for work. He loved them. 2 years he wore those boots! He didn't want to throw them away because he loved them so much. Finally, we found this website! Thank God we did! He loves his boots! They fit perfectly! He has a wide foot and his arch is high. His boots make his day a much better! His feet feel comfortable throughout the entire day!

This is a great shoe. Will be getting it in other colors. Lots of compliments. You won't be disappointed.

It was fine, I went a half size smaller than I normally wear. I had read some of the reviews and this issue had been discussed . They tend to run a bit larger than the shoe . I ordered a 10 1/2 instead of the usual 11. Perfect fit, enough room for heavier sock which I would normally wear with a boot . Very pleased, great service from Zappos. Thanks

Great casual boots. Taupe was as pictured. Lots of reviews about them running big, so I bought a size smaller. I usually wear a ten, got the nine and they feel perfect. Not too wide as many reviews said, and I have medium width feet. No break in required. Versatile style. Well made Born product, should last a long time.

Bought for my husband who is super picky about his shoes. Liked the style online and loves them out of the box. No breaking in needed, they felt great immediately. They look terrific too. Don’t let this style go! We’ll buy them again
