Nice well made

Stylish. Comfortable.

At first it was too cushy, therefore tiring to walk in. I removed the thick insole and replaced it with two thinner and harder insoles. An improvement. Very wide shoe, both in toe box and heel, but a welcome change from so many shoes with narrow toe boxes. Fine leather and workmanship (workwomenship?) I put the Born insole into a Finn Comfort from which I had removed its masochistic cork bed, and that shoe is ideal now!

These are perfect nice casual boots! So comfortable.

Bought these for my husband. His second pair because they are so comfortable. He had never worn Born shoes before and now they are his favorite brand.

Boot fit me very well. This is my third pair of Born boots. They’ve become my go to shoes.

This is my second pair of the Born Nigel boot. I can honestly say they are by far the most comfortable boot, and maybe even shoe, that I've ever owned. Pay heed to the other reviewers who advise they run 1/2 size large. I normally wear a size 10 but a 9 1/2 in this boot fits just right. Thanks Zappos!

Comfortable, well-made boots with wide toe-box that makes break-in time minimal. Like the rough finish and unusual deep rust color. Looks great with jeans and chinos.

Fit is perfect....like reviews said..order 1/2 size down...I normally wear a 10 but 9.5 is perfect.....No break in period, they're already broken in and extremely comfortable.......quite happy with these boots....

After a couple of tries of similar shoes my husband finally really loved these. He says they feel very comfortable.

I’ve had these about 16 months and they are holding up pretty well. I wear them to work in an office 2-3 times a week, and have also worn them for some extensive city walking. The one critique I have is that my shoes came with a cardboard or cloth layer between the tread and the insole. When this broke down, the insole started punching into the grid pattern on the inside of the sole. I replaced the insoles, and cut a layer of thin, tough plastic to fit underneath. So far, so good.

Day 1. They feel great. Stay tuned.

Very comfortable and wide toe box for a wide foot. Have only worn a few times, but great so far.

Only had them 2 days, but they are super comfortable right out of the box. My feet are difficult to fit, due to neuromas in both, but the roomy toe box in the Nigels works perfectly for me. Good looking, and the sole material provides excellent quiet traction to boot. My new everyday shoe.

I have been a loyal customer or Born products for many years, the Nigel boot from the 1st day wearing them are a perfect fit and are amazing. If your looking for 1 of the finest products for ur feet I highly recommend Born. I will be purchasing a pair in black next week.

fit and size were very good

My husband said these are very comfortable boots and they look great with jeans and khakis.

Fit and feel are excellent with one exception...SIZING. Normal wear a 13 in all my shoes, various brands like Salewa, Scarpa, Keen, Solomon, Nike, Reebok, Sanuk, Olukai, Inov8, La Sportiva, and Born. Ordered a 13 like I normally do, however they fit like a 14. Exchanged for a size 12 and they fit perfectly. Order a size smaller!!!

Straight out of the box these felt like well worn sneakers, very flexible and comfortable. Good traction from the soles, and the have a broken-in look that I like. Terrific boot!
