Always the best mat. Bought it for my girl and she loves it but said its slippery. We did the salt scrub but I told her Mandukas mats are typically slippery for the first few uses. Wouldnt buy anywhere else

So disappointed. I had a mandala mat for 20 years. This mat is unusable as it has a terrible slip coating making it impossible to practice. Give me my money back!

Excellent grip. Good size. There is no bad odor from the mat.

Everything I was looking for.

I really wanted to like this mat. I was so excited for it. However, if your hands or feet sweat even the slightest bit, this mat turns into a slip and slide. I was teaching a class on it and had to completely rework my lesson plan because I couldnt even hold down dog without skidding all over the place. I dont do or teach hot yoga so its not like the room was particularly warm. Very disappointed that in order to use this mat at all Im going to have to buy a mat towel for another $50.

My yoga instructor has had one of these mats for 8+ years and it looks brand new, so I'm excited about the durability of this one! I had wanted a thicker mat for my knees, and this fits the bill. Be warned, this mat is HEAVY (compared to the travel mats that I'd been using). Other than that, my only real complaint is that the mat smells funky just out of the box.

Feels like a quality mat absolutely love it. What I didnt like too much was having to pay for the Strap/carrier separate.

Beautiful mat, and just what I needed for my sore knees. The support is exactly what I wanted in a mat. I've read about the "slippy-ness," and understand why people may not feel fully stable on it during the first few uses. However I've only had it a couple weeks and I'm already feeling that go away (though I practice daily and use it when I do short bursts of strength exercises at home too). Very happy with my purchase.

It has a nauseating smell. Also, very heavy. Not useful for taking to class.

I love this mat and my other Manduka Pro so much. Coming onto these mats for my practice is like coming home.

Too slippy for the price.

Ive owned the pro mat for 10 yrs now and it still works like a dream. I have a very regular vinyasa practice ranging from hot vinyasa and ashtanga and so my mat has taken quite a blessing. Ive taken it to yoga festivals and kirtans and with all that good energy it has received over the years, my pro mat has become a very very treasured possession of mine, thanks to it being made to literally outlive me. Its a possession of mine that I look forward to pass on to a love one. May it be a safe space for them the same that it is for me now. Thank you, Manduka!

The quality is superb.

It seems very durable. A little bit heavier than the one I had, but I like it a lot.

This mat is super grippy, my hands and feet don't slide out! As I age, the thicker mat helps my knees.

I haven't really used it yet; just once. I did salt the mat, altho I still don't know quite why. It is very solid, thick and heavy. I think I did good getting this.

This was highly recommended to me as the best Matt out there. Unfortunately, it is slippery, my hands and feet do slip and it makes the concentration tough. Also, it is very heavy to carry. Im not too happy with the purchase, please let me know my options as Id like to return it.

Love the color! I already have this mat, in a different color. Its a wonderful mat that has held its quality for years. I just felt like it was time for a new one.

Disappointing, I slip on the surface.

Very confortable. Heavy to carry; recommend you get a carrier strap or have a strategy. For someone with an easily provoked and temperamental spine this was all the support I hoped for.
