It's very supportive and I can finally fit on yoga mat

it is a fantastic yoga mat I use for general indoor exercise. it is thick enough for cushion and sturdy enough to provide stability.

too slippery at first

This mat is quite slipery, its dificult to practice. When you get it it has instructions that you have to rub it with kilograms of salt to prevent it being slipery but nothing about this is written on the web shop which i find very missleading, also no salt is included with the product. I hope it will get better with use at least it is written so on the webshop.

I've been using this mat (or the equivalent of it) for about 25 years. Back then, the only option was black. I have a handful of them now, and the oldest is still perfectly in tact. A little worn at the hands and feet, but that feels good to me. This will always be my go-to, and the mat I recommend to my students who want to invest in one good mat that will last a lifetime. This is the thing Manduka does best, and in my opinion, better than any other mat company out there.

The mat is extremely well-made, stays flat on the floor during practice. Breaking-in took time, used the salt method and it worked. Over all, a great mat. Hoping to use it for years to come!

The best yoga mat ever

First time using the mat in a semi-heated class (low 90s) and I was slipping all over the place. Pretty disappointed.

I love my new yoga mat, which replaced my last Manduka mat that lasted me 20 years of daily use.

Amazing mat

This pro mat I purchased is decidedly NOT sticky. Im a novice yogi but wanted to invest in my practice and get my own mat to avoid the shared stinky mats at class. I went with Manduka as my gym also uses these sticky and lightweight mats. I made the grave mistake of going pro. This leaden beast burns more calories hauling to class than my 60 mins session and its slimy texture does not wash off, alcohol wipe off or hot water soak off. Ive tried for a month of slowly slipping too deep onto my side angles. I give up and return to stinky co-op mats and will beg my gym to please invest in new ones. Just not Manduka.

I love that Manduka makes a long mat for us vertically blessed people! I have had my mat for over five years and it is in fantastic shape not showing any signs of wear and tear but completely broken in. The only reason I have two of these matters so when I go home to visit my parents I have a long mat to practice with. Having your feet or head hang off the mat is the worst feeling. Thank you Manduka for making a long mat for long legs!

Mat arrived quicker than I expected. Gave it the salt treatment which worked well and am now enjoying my practice on my lovely new mat. It is quite heavy to carry to class but worth it for the quality and cushioning.

It is very heavy, so bringing it to your yoga class is in itself a weight-training! And besides this, the surface is very slippery, although I do not sweat at all

I am very happy with it , it is very beautiful. The quality is perfect, very comfortable. Very good support. The only problem is that it slips a little too much for me.

I like the may, but was unhappy with the color so I returned it and ordered same mat in Harbour color.

I have done the salt treatment several times and the mat is still VERY slippery! Its scary to practice with it. Very unhappy since it is supposed to be one of the best yoga mats.

I was disappointed, just too heavy and bulky for me. So I returned it, but thinking of the pro lite.

Its very slippery. I will need to try the salt trick. The color is darker than picture

I like the thickness and length. Wish you had, had more color choices.
