I have owned a Manduka PRO for over 4 years and love it. I purchased this one to keep at home and the other travels with me in my car. The thickness of the mat is not to large or too small. It's very sturdy for inversions and arm balancing as well as comfortable on my knees. Brand new it's a little slippery if you are very sweaty, but overtime, it gets more sticky! Using salt will speed up this process.

I bought this for my wife at Christmas. She absolutely loves it. Sh no longer has the knee pain she had from her previous mar.

I purchased my Manduka Pro mat last month am so grateful I did. Outstanding comfort and so pretty. It's everything they say it is and more.

I've tried many mats in my many years of practice. This is by far the best and the one that I will stick with. Nice grip, supportive, always feel grounded.

The mat looks cery well made, soft and sturdy. Love it. A bit heavy to take it around so plan to get the lighter version as well.

As a future yoga teacher I spent quite a long time reading reviews about MANDUCA The Black Mat PRO on the official site as on FB page. And as the person with quite sticky hands, were concerned since I read that there were reviews pointing out that in that case the mat is too slippery even after applying the salt .. At the first time it didn't work for me neither. The second time I added a bit of water after applying the salt and rubbed the mat a little bit with the mixture, left it for another 24h, and voila! It gives me the maximum support, it is easy to clean, I LOVE the practice on it, and I will be recommending it to my friends, my future students :)

I bought this mat for my husband, after owning the same for 4 years. This mat is solid, has just the right enough "stick" without getting sweaty. It handles every practice I throw its way, and I appreciate its eco-conscious manufacturing.

I bought this mat a month ago and am in love with it! I've only practiced on it a few times, but I can already tell the difference between my old mats. The cushioning is fantastic. The mat itself is a bit heavy, but I think that just shows how durable it will be. I love the color too; it's a gorgeous blue-grey. I'm so excited for this mat!

I had an identical mat for nine years and can't even guess how how many hundreds of hours I practiced on it. It was as good as new, only better. I practice primarily hot yoga (not Bikram), and I only use a hand towelno towel laid over my entire mat; the grip is as good as they get short of rubber. I only bought a new one because my original was lost.

I like that this mat is thick and sturdy. It is a bit heavy so I would not travel with it, but well worth bringing to your practice.

Manduka products were recommended to me by a yoga friend. She has had her mat for years. I am not disappointed. It has great cushion that feels good and helps me balance. I'm assuming that this mat will last a lifetime.

Used for the first time today. Mat was slightly slippery. But, much less than I anticipated. Love the color. Glad I finally made the upgrade.

I have had my Manduka Pro for about 10 years and it still looks brand new. I bought this one for my husband for Christmas and he's thrilled to be using a mat that he doesn't slip on and is good for his joints. He is 6ft and likes the standard length.

I am happy with this mat! I need a mat to cushion my hip bones, stay in one piece (not flake away), long enough and sticky enough. All needs are met! Excellent.

I had been using the health club mats. When my yoga teacher told me about this mat, I decided to make an investment in my health and get it, the lifetime guarantee is what made the difference in which mat I chose. I'm glad I got it! I can't objectively rate the durability yet, since I've only used it about 8 times.

Only complaint that it's heavier than I expected but it's thick and great on my knees.

I love this new mat! It's a little slipper at first, but seems to be getting better as it gets a little worn in. I also love the Odyssey Blue color.
