I went searching for a different Hoka shoe after having only run in Clifton 3s. I assumed the Clifton 4s would be the same but they were horrible. The Hupanas are my new favorite. I ran my first marathon in them and I don't have a single blister. These will continue to be my choice of shoe.

I am a Zumba and Fitness Instructor. I've gone through many shoes but none of them worked not even the actual shoes sold by Zumba for Zumba. I have planters fasiaitis and bad knees. The Hupana is the only shoe that works for everything I teach, it is perfectly balanced and protects my feet. Also, I can go straight from the gym to the street comfortably and easily! I've gone through a couple of pairs and will replace with the Hupana again when the time comes. They seem to last about 8-10 months in between replacements.

I do HITT workouts lots of jumping and lifting weights. Just enough tread. Just enough cushion. They are flat enough for lifting. I would run in something else but I'm 50 year old female 116lbs. I purchased my normal size. My only problem is the toe is stiff for doing lunges and rather uncomfortable. Today on a elevated step was real bad. I've worn them now for maybe 10 workouts around an hour a pc. They do have more cushion than a normal cross trainer and are still stable this was my motive in the purchase because I am older but do not like to workout in a running shoe with a heal.

I wanted a less bulky appearing shoe to wear with jeans and leggings but my feet need the Hoka support and cushioning. The Hupana shoe fulfilled both requirements.

I like these for gym workouts. I needed something that would not stick to the floor doing workouts that requires movement that u need to spin on the ball of your foot. I wear these to do Cathe Fredrick DVDs. For this shoe I Ordered my normal size. I had to size up for the Challengers.

Recovering from bilateral leg surgery and needed an everyday sneaker to support me on my way to work (city walking) after my Brooks launch went flat. Couldn't be happier. Soooo comfortable even with my long wide toes. I run in the vanquish and bondi so this is a nice complement.

I was skeptical to buy these at first even with the average 4 star reviews. Several people said these ran narrow and had a tight toe box area. I discovered that these shoes took a bit longer to break in than normal. The toe box originally felt odd and tight. After about 2.5 hours of walking they loosened up nicely and are comfortable. Also, if you have even slightly wide feet, these probably won't work for you. I have regular width feet and if they were any tighter they would be too narrow. I give these shoes 4 stars because they aren't as good for running as I thought they would be. I find them to be a little more suited for casual wear/ lots of walking. For longer distance I would reccomend the "Gavotia" shoes, as they perfect for running/jogging.

I wear the Hupana as my casual shoe during the week and on weekends. They're comfortable all day. I will say they are VERY narrow - which is fine with me because I have super narrow feet but buyer beware!

Minimum support a little narrower than other Hokas. Good quality and lightweight.

Great quality but too narrow and not enough toe box room; too pointy and pinched. Going back to go-to NBs which have always had ample toe box room. However even NB is beginning to get stingy with regular width and toe box these days.

These are the second pair of Hokas I've bought (the first being hiking boots). I love these so much! They're great for just going out to the store or somewhere casual where all that's required is walking. But they also feel great while running. Great support and good bounce back.

I loved the look of this shoe and REALLY wanted it to work on my foot, but it was too soft under my orthotic and my feet started hurting within an hour or so. My 2 star rating is not meant as a criticism, the shoe is nice and well done. It just has a limit for who can wear it.

I have only had for a month, but wore them before my trip and then every day for 2 weeks while I was exploring China. They needed to be washed when I got back due to the uncleanliness of the restrooms there. I have washed many running shoes in the past, including other Hokas and never had a problem. For some reason, during the wash the toe part lifted from the fabric of the shoe on one of them. I am not happy about it and I haven't received any feedback yet when I reached out to customer service.

Let me start by admitting that the Hupana is gorgeous- it's sleek, lightweight, and styled. I am a new Hoka One One customer after wearing Asics for years but the recent design change was just too much to deal with, and so I found my new shoe in the Clifton style. I was looking for a second shoe for normal gym & outdoor light cardio wear. Sadly, the Hupana was too tight in the toe box and the drop was too low- so much that I felt like I was walking out of the shoe with ever stride. Had to return and thus the search for a second Hoka style continues.. #sadface

They were recommended to me by an Orthopedic specialist. The first week and a half the shoes were ok. Then both my feet started hurting. After 2 weeks of wearing them every day, as instructed, I could hardly walk and had severe pain in my right heel. It was my left foot that hurt when I purchased the shoes!

I wear these in the gym mostly, lifting weights, circuit training, walking, but not much else. My only issue with Hupana is they tend to get stinky quickly. I've washed them a few times and they are still stinky. I contacted Hoka to see if they sell insoles separately and unfortunately they don't. Any suggestions appreciated.

This shoe is well made got the black. It is stable but not cushion enough for me no arch support like the bondi 5. It pulled the back of my leg for some reason. If this shoe had the above I would have given 5 stars. Like I said its well made just not for me. Oh it felt a little narrow but the more you wear it stretched was comfortable to wear just felt flat footed.

This is my second pair of Hokas and I love them just as much as my first. My initial pair had a much thicker sole and was wonderful, however due to vanity I wanted something a little more stylish... which brought me to the Hupana. They are wonderful, fit true to size, and leave wiggle room in the toes. I have narrow feet with very high arches. These shoes hug my arches and provide plenty of cushion. I am an 8.5 in all shoes, including Hokas. I don't understand the idea of sizing up an entire size in Hokas. They have always fit true to size. I am pilates and Yoga instructor, avid walker, mother of 2, and short distance runner. On my feet for most of the day and very active. Hoka ROCKS.

Too narrow and no cushion at all. I wanted to keep it but it was just too uncomfortable. i will exchange it with either Bondi or Elevon.

I teach elementary students, group fitness, and coach track! This shoe allows me to go all day without my feet to start aching. I dod everything in these shoes. I love how they respond just like a *normal* hoka shoe, but are a lot less chunky. They are stylish and most importantly reliable. Everyone comments about my shoes and I always say I'll never use another shoe brand, Hoka is the best!
