I've been running in Hoka's for several years now. The Clifton and Clayton worked well for me, with their roomy toeboxes. I was going to get the Hupana for a casual shoe. I ordered my normal size 8, but the Hupana was too narrow in the toebox. If they make them wider in the next version, I would give them a try again.

This is my 5th pair of Hokas but the first I've had to return. The toe box is too narrow and tight across the forefoot. I'm trying one half size up and am hopeful. I like the arahai but it's not as cushy as my old beloved Stinson ATRs. I am grateful for the 30 day guarantee and free return shipping.

I bought the Arahi after wearing the Bondi. I am a stability runner, so I was excited for Hoka to come out with a stability shoe and no longer have to buy insoles. I still had to buy them because I still needed more arch support. Also, the shoe is described as a wide fit. This couldn't be further from the truth. I have a narrow foot and they were still too narrow. I had more blisters and lost toenails than with any other shoe. On the positive side, the cushioning is great as is the responsiveness and weight of the shoe. If they had an option to buy on a wide fit, I'd definitely try them again.

Unfortunately, this shoe does not come in a wide size, but I thought I would try it anyway. My Hoka One One Odysseys have always been fine, but that model isn't available anymore. I have a bunion on my right foot, so I am always trying to see what models will work for me. Unfortunately, this one doesn't. I will likely return it.

I find the shoes too narrow. I would buy one of those wide ones.

I am new to Hoka at the recommendation of my podiatrist. After 20+ years of running my feet and legs need a little extra TLC. I need a stable shoe so I tried the Gaviota. I loved these shoes so much I went back and ordered the Arahi and am so disappointed. I felt like I was running on pavement in a trail shoe. They did not cushion my feet the way the Gaviota do.
I will be returning to get something different.

Very disappointed that this is my 3rd pair in 5 months! The sole is coming off again! And for the amount I paid for these is ridiculous!

I would really like these shoes if the last wasn't so straight and narrow in the toebox. I think these are "easy" running shoes--days that are shorter, quicker, and/or on trails. They are more responsive than a big cushioned shoe. I like the colors too. I have plain black ones from 2016, but now I have the blue/black new ones, and they don't fit as well as the old ones. :(

I ordered these tennis shoes to help with the pain from plantar facitis I thought I ordered a wide, but received a regular width. The purple and black color looks good with shorts and jeans. The cushion was nice, but my 2 little toes were falling asleep each time I walked. I hoped they would break in, but when I checked my order info, I saw the shoe width was regular and not wide. So I am hoping my new shoes will correct this problem. Glad there is a 30 day trial of the shoes.

I ordered these with 6 weeks to go to my Marathon, after six miles of my break in run I had toe pain. I have a old injury to my rt great toe and after buying my first pair of Hokas have not had it., yesterday it was back. I have multiple pairs of hokas buy two maybe more a year and run 30 plus miles a week. This is the first time I have ever returned shoes but with 26 miles to go will not be able to run in these.

I wore these at work and loved them at first but after the third month they did not feel as comfortable. The bottom of the shoe started flapping and coming apart as I walked. I am not happy that the shoe was coming apart after three months. They were great while they lasted but for the money I need a shoe that is going to last longer.

Bought these at a local shoe store. I go to the gym almost daily and/or I go walking regularly, or I used to before I got these shoes. I still can go to the gym but I used to walk 6 miles on a regular basis with my boyfriend now I can't even walk 3 miles without getting blisters on my heels. Thought they just needed breaking in. I was wrong. I even tried special walking socks and that made it worse. I tried changing lacing up and making laces tighter and all it did was give the tops of my feet bruises on top of the blister on my heels. I just wear them for short walks to the gym/in the gym while I do weight training mostly.
For that they are fine, for keeping me from twisting my ankle they are excellent. I just wish I had had a chance to test them out better before I ran out of time to return them.(it was rainy a lot so I couldn't really go out to test them) Waste of money, the only benefit over $5-$10 shoes I've had is cushioning is much better and it provides better balance... however I can't walk nearly as far so definitely not worth the well over $100 more that I spent on these.
They are not terrible shoes in general, My feet don't hurt nearly as much when I stand in them long periods of time but as I was sold them as walking shoes and I can't use them as such I give them a 3 star rating.

The length was fine, simply too much room in the toe area and it was a regular width, not wide. There might be a Hoka for me?

I was really excited because I had heard the brand was good. I had plantar fasciitis recently and my podiatrist recommended them. They are a little pricey for me, so my mom came with me and bought them for me for my birthday. They are the right size, I wear a straight nine. But soon after I put them on, the toes on my right foot start to go numb. At first I thought I laced them too tight... but it happens every time. I'm bummed. Also the first time I got on the floor to do mountain climbers, the tread wouldn't stick to the floor and I slipped.

The toebox is WAY too narrow, especially for a size 10 women's shoe. My toes are crammed and I developed an corn between my small toe and the next one. Super painful!

It takes getting used to wearing them. My heels feel sore when just standing. Good shoes for being active.

Every time I run in my HOKA I get a blister on the metatarsal area. I have started running with inserts in my shoes which helps. Disappointed that these shoes are not more comfortable for me.

Ordered the hot pink Arahi. Loved the design and got tons of compliments on them. First that's ever happened on a Hoka! Super comfortable to wear. That being said, I ended up returning them. First, the hot pink color on sides of soles started all flaking off. That's inexcusable in shoes less than a month old in this price range. Second, I needed a more plush shoe after all. It was heartbreaking and I tried. But I needed more cushioning.
