Heels slip, shoe rubs on the top of my foot, despite shoving a tennis ball in it to stretch it out.

These shoes fit long and narrow. I would need to go down a 1/2 size to get the proper length, but up at least a 1/2 size to get the right width. The material is very stiff feeling. This is not a shoe I would run in, but would've worn for casual wear if it had fit. I don't understand why Hoka is getting away from the roomy toebox they were known for.

I loved the look of this shoe and REALLY wanted it to work on my foot, but it was too soft under my orthotic and my feet started hurting within an hour or so. My 2 star rating is not meant as a criticism, the shoe is nice and well done. It just has a limit for who can wear it.

Too narrow and no cushion at all. I wanted to keep it but it was just too uncomfortable. i will exchange it with either Bondi or Elevon.

These run big! I bought my normal size I kept these and wore them thinking it would be nice for travel to have some room for puffy travel feet. My big mistake.. they seemed to grow with every step. Ugh.

The black with the blue bottom does not look like the picture. The blue bottom is sky blue but the picture makes it look brighter and more like turquoise. Also, it was way too narrow in middle and towards the foot. It hurt so bad I had to go to another store and buy a pair to wear for the day just to get them off my feet.

I was disappointed with the fit of these shoes. I wanted to like them, because they are so much nicer looking than the other Hokas, but the eyelets in the top of the shoes poked into my feet and the uppers were stiff and uncomfortable.

I loved the shoe. It was very comfortable but after a while they started feeling tight. I have a foot condition called neuroma and I need a shoe with a wide width. Unfortunately HOKA does not have a great selection of shoes for women in wide, at least not in styles and colors I'm interested in buying.

Unfortunately the shoe has a sharp seem inside the shoe that rubbed on the end of the top of your foot. So rather than enjoy a blister we returned

I wore them everyday to teach and at night when I exercised on the treadmill. Sadly, three months into it, the soles fell apart. In my opinion, these are expensive shoes for such a short life span.

I got this product because of the cushion. Loved it when I tried it on in store and ran for a few minutes in the treadmill. But when I went for my first run on pavement, the arch in the right show rubbed so bad, it was unbearable after 1 mile. Went into the local running store where I bought the show, the owner suggested so blister resistant socks. Worked for the rubbing, but my feet went numb after two miles. These shoes felt more the work, rather than lacing up and going out for a run. I felt like every run I went on, I was putting in more work than usual. I wouldn't even run a 5k in these shoes. I had these shoes 20ish days, put on maybe 20ish miles, and the bottoms were already wearing pretty good. Glad I didn't keep them. Wanted to love the shoes, but didn't even like them.

On average I run at about 25 miles a week. All of it on pavement. My previous pair of Hoka's lasted me nearly a year. These wore out in 3 months. I would not recommend these for anyone who runs outside.

The Arahi is an attractive shoe and it initially felt good. Unfortunately, after the first run, it caused a big blister on the back of my left foot. I'm usually good about tying my shoes so that I feel locked in, but the shoe still rubbed the back of my foot. My other foot was fine, so I don't know if it was just a defect in that one shoe. Also, it did not feel cushiony enough for my feet (maybe that's the stability factor?). I have sent it back and hope to get my requested exchange soon, the Clifton 4. I have a great experience with the Clifton 3, so I hope the 4 will be just as satisfactory. I just wanted to try a different model (and I gave it a 2nd star because it came in purple). I am still a big fan of Hokas! I've been wearing Hokas for the past 3 years since I started running and they are easier on my middle-aged body, haha. Mahalo, Hoka!

Considering how much I love my Hoka Vanquish shoes, I had high hopes for the Hupana. But I was sadly mistaken. While they were good looking shoes, they were way too shallow, especially in the toe box, & did not accommodate my arch supports. The stiff lining around the lace eyelets was also very uncomfortable on the top of my foot and they were lacking the rocker soles that help with my foot condition. Exchanging for the Clifton and hoping they will be more accommodative for my feet!

This was my third purchase of Hoka shoes. I love my Arahi shoes and hiking boots. In comparison, these shoes had no cushioning or support. I was really looking forward to enjoying these shoes all summer as they are lightweight and breathable.
I have hammertoes and need a deeper toebox and ball of foot cushioning, but these shoes did not meet my needs. I was hoping that Hoka would expand into cushiony casual shoes, but if this shoe exemplifies a move in that direction I hope they amp up the cushioning.

These seem to have less cushion then the Clifton 1 and 2. I intermingle two ti three pairs at a time and can tell the difference between my Clifton 2 and this 3. Every time I wear them, which is a total 67 miles so far, I get a blister on my right foot pad. I have not had running blisters in 3 years and am a ironman and marathoner. Cliftons have saved my feet but I would return these if I could.

My husband bought me this shoe and it was to small so I had to return them. Through online chat I was told to order a whole size up only to find out they were sold out of that size. They said they should have more sizes in stock in mid June, so I'm waiting and checking the website periodically so I can reorder the shoe.

Let me start by saying, perhaps there is not a HOKA for me. Bondi is too heavy. Clifton and Speedgoat hoem those weird "Siderails" I call them, where the hard plastic of the sole rubs the side of the foot. I almost thought Infinite was for me (I dont' need too much stability, but have a high arch), but alas, blisters when I went long. Clayton 3 is so comfy, but really too soft and leads to sloppy running for me.
So, I gave the Arahi a try. Also very comfortable right out of the box. The sole/underfoot for me is absolute perfection for long runs. The right combination of soft, but not "squishy" and supportive but lightweight.
But, alas, there is a major flaw with the upper design. Actually a couple of flaws. First, the rubberized overall finish is not 'strechy' enough for my taste; my foot is much happier in a knit/flexible upper.
But it's worse than that. If you feel closely, there is like a built in "strap' system in the upper, with one band across the midfoot, and another band that hits right at the side of the MTP joint. That's right were a shoe should 'give' to allow some splay when you land. Instead, your foot is like in a hard 'corset", with a seam on the inner side right at the MTP. result=blisters at that site.
I would love, love , love this shoes, if the same sole came with a knit-type upper, but for now, this is a no-go for me.

I wish I could say I enjoy so much this shoes, bcs I love Hoka, but I cannot say it.
I've been wearing them for almost a month and they already look wear out!
They didn't fit so well, they run small (like 1/2 size) and too narrow.
They are pretty tho...but I will definitely come back to Clifton 2

I am an active runner and train for multiple half marathons per year. I decided to try these after hearing great feedback on Hokas and my need for a stability show. But...I am so disappointed. The first run out they felt great for 3 miles, but by the 4th mile it felt like a had a cheese grater rubbing my arches. The insole is too narrow and cut into my arch so badly I cut my run short and limped a mile home. I couldn't get these off fast enough. I really wanted to keep and like these, because they took the impact well and my ankle had the support it needed without KT tape. Very disappointed that I'll be returning these. :-(

The show was lightweight which was nice. The shoe was too wide for my feet, so my foot slid around a lot inside the shoe, causing bad blisters on my toes and the ball of my foot. My feet also sweat a lot in them. My feet felt hot and burning during my runs. The shoe had great support and cushion though.
