My feet run between sizes 10.5 and 11and are wide. For this boot a 10.5 standard width fit perfectly, with extra room in the toe box for a thicker sock if need be. I also tried on a Merrel Zion, Salomon x ultra 3 and Vasque Talus. After trying these all on I went with the Keens because the fit was perfect. If you have wider feet keens seem to be the way to go. They have a great locked in feel and a wider foot print than the other boots that give a very stable platform. I was very surprised at the light weight of these, its a good feel under foot. Great on soft sand, mud, uneven grass and hard packed trails. I get the impression these are not as well suited for hiking a mountain ridge as the other boots I tried on. If your into walking your dog, hiking trails and running around town they seem to be a better fit for the normal day to day. My only critique; the top of the boot is a little low for my ankle and does not provide lots of support there but it's not a deal breaker. Walked about 10 miles so far and love em.

I've only had these for a little while now, but I really enjoy them. They are light, but not quite as breathable as I would have hoped. Then again, they are waterproof, so I guess that's the trade-off you make. My waterproof Nike trail shoes aren't very breathable either. Still, it's not bad as they breathe more than the Nikes do. As for sizing, these are true-to-size FOR KEENS, but otherwise, I would say they run about a size to a size-and-a-half smaller than I normally wear. However, this is because I can go with a smaller size due to the width of Keens. So, if you've worn Keens before, you can get the normal size you typically wear. If you wear Nikes, definitely go down a size or two. (Or better yet, go try on some Keens in person somewhere first and then get that size.) Style is great for street or trails. I would have liked them to a be a little squishier in the insole, but these are boots, not running shoes, so they are fine. Overall, B+.

These are very good hiking shoes. The fit felt a little off at first, but they just needed breaking in.

Is it me or are Keens becoming inconsistent size wise? I've had pairs in the past that I have gotten a lot of wear from. The last few pairs I've ordered though have been returned. This pair is tight in the toebed that I've not noticed in the other pair of Keen boots I wear.

I'm a woman with a high instep rolling arch with a bit of a wide foot. My foot measures about 8.25. A womans 9 is to big in length and a 8 5 is to small and doesn't give me enough toe room. Mens 7 has that 1/8 more space that makes it a perfect fit. Just wish it had a little more heel absorption like the womans do. Overall its a good fit and I can wear them all day. 8hrs without pain or blistering.

Nice boot, fits well right out of the box. My only issue might be that the tongue does not seem to seal off the boot from water. If its supposed to be water proof, then there should be better protection up the laces. Have not put this to the test yet.

true to size, comfortable right out of the box. only drawback is i wish they had more padding on the inside, especially around the ankles.

These are good light waterproof mid to entry level hiking boots. They fit well, are light, and good on the trail. I wear 11 shoes and the 11 hiking boots fit me. I would buy them again.

Nice boots, but I need more hard layering throughout the forefoot, for metatarsalgia. It seems like the outsole is durable and long lasting, but the ball of the boot wasn't hard enough to protect my extreme foot ache. General hikers would probably be much more comfortable, but it still seems like it would let the sensation of jagged rocks through to the ball of your foot. The shank only covers the heel and maybe some arch, but not much. Comfortable and airy upper; slight arch support, but I still have to put orthotics in everything.

This was my 2nd pair of these, however this time I was a little disappointed. I found that the webbing by the toe started to fray and after 8 months wore thru; the lashing that one uses to tie the shoes were uneven; and now almost a year later the soles are now separating form the shoe. Comfort wise GREAT fit super water proof until the hole. But disappointed overall for the money I feel that I should not have to spend 135.00 every year on them and the fraying started 2 months in. Like I said just disappointed.

I want to love this boot. I bought it as I had a foot injury and need boots with a wider toe box, which this definitely has. I wear a lot of Keen shoes and compared to say the Austen or the Portsmouth the toe cap on these hiking boots is a flimsy joke. I don't get how these hiking boots are less rugged than their oxfords. I'll be sending these back sadly.

These boots have begun to fall apart after around one year of use. I will not buy another pair of Keen boots.

I used my pair very little and the soles fell off way before they wore out. Looks like an adhesive failure. Keen would not warranty the failure saying 3 years old is out of warranty .
I liked them otherwise ,but sole separation while stored in my house is unacceptable.

These have an arch that tried to break my foot in half. Either I received a defective pair or I suddenly have very flat feet. I have worn a lot of boots and have a wide tolerance for fit, but these are something else. I thought there was some shipping padding left in.
I honestly have no idea how people are wearing these boots.
I really liked my previous keens and wish they still made them.

I returned mine. They were flimsy. My Keen Portsmouth shoes have a toe cap that's more than twice as rigid. The sole was very flexible, a bit too thin, and not what I was looking for with even a lightweight hiking boot. I ended up going with a pair of Vasque Breeze 3.o Gore-Tex for the more rugged construction and better cushioning. These are the first Keens I've been disappointed with, and my closet is full of them.

The outside fell apart in about 3 months. I would say it was pretty light use, too. Office worker, only going grocery shopping, outdoor time just to take out the trash. Wow, what a boring summer. Anyway, the glue just separated and it sucks because keen used to be so great.

The sole of these boots are already separating from the upper boot itself. In addition, the sole is two parts, and the sole tread is separating from the main body of the tread. Overall in less than a year I am disappointed. They fit well and are comfy. I bought them in October of 21 and it is now September of 22.

I have worn these shoes 5 days a week for 6 months. Today the sole separated from the upper. I don't care how comfortable or how waterproof a pair of boots are, for nearly $150 they should last a lot longer than 6 months. such a bummer.

Ordered 5 pairs of Keens. Will be returning 4 of them. I thought they were supposed to fit good?
These had flaws in the manufacturing to make them so uncomfortable I could not imagine keeping them. Maybe it's just me, but I'll be sticking with Merrell. Not sure why I thought to try Keen.
