Very cute boot, but extremely hard to get your foot into.

The style is really cute, but I couldn't for the life of me slip into these beauties. Will try a half size up!

Like everyone said, it takes a little work to get them on, but otherwise I really like them. Same Ugg quality but offers more versatility than the classic boot. Not as clunky and looks great with a casual look.

I bought these even after reading the reviews. They have the same sole of as a two year old pair of black leather Uggs that I like very much. It is more rugged than classic Uggs, but they are not clodhoppers ;-). I have a narrower foot and thin lower legs. Without undoing the buckle on these, I would not be able to get them on with the cuff folded down. If I keep the cuff up, I do not have to deal with the buckle each time. I like the way they look with the cuff up or down. They are very attractive and comfortable once on. The heel is a little loose, but this has never caused a problem with me in my older black pair. I could probably wear a thin sock and that might help , but I love wearing my Uggs sock free. The Stout color is a deep, dark brown and the boots look good with everything I hoped they would. I took a size 8 in these, the same size I wear in the Ugg Amie boot, which I also like very much for a dressier look.

I love these boots and wish I could give them 5 stars, but like the other reviews said, they are SOOOO hard to get on. Definitely order a half size up from what you would order a Classic II Ugg boot so that you can get your foot in the boot. Hint - fold the cuff up and then try to put on the shoe, I would never be able to get these on with the cuff folded over.

As other reviews stated it was hard to get foot in boots. But they are so amazing cute and exactly what I was looking for I knew I had to do whatever it would take to make that shoe fit. But really all I did was unndo the buckle at the back and unfold it to where it was the mid calf size. Then like magic foot slid right in. So I then folded it down and refastened the buckle very loosely. I did this to both boots. I then wore them in my house for over an hour. Stopping to slide my heel in and out of my boots several several times. Bc let’s face it most of us choose ugg for how easy they are to just step right in and have a comfy cute boot on within the blink of an eye and bc of the wonderful soft linings I never wear socks. I love the feel of my foot in an ugg. I’m icky my feet never sweat so I can enjoy the luxurious liner surrounding my foot. . So after wearing an hour and the sliding heel in and out it became much much easier to get my foot in and out. So I took them off still rolled down. And then I tried putting it back on my left foot I was immediately able to put my left foot back in with just holding on to the top of boot. My right foot did not want to go in again. Was frustrated but then I thought let me keep it buckled and see if I could unroll them buckled and still get foot in. So I just rolled the boot to calf height it’s full extension then held top as my foot slid gently in then I rolled the flap down and buckle was still buckled. I think the reason all this is happening to this boot is just bc when you roll any fabric in on itself it makes it tighter. But my boots go on one handed now and I get loads of questions where I got them. My only complaint is that if I’m going to buy a name brand boot that has a cute little embroidered logo that we girls love then I want it to show and unfortunately the buckle covers it up. But these are still the exact boots I had pictured in my mind when I decided I needed what I’ll call a midi cankle boot. I just love love love them. I’ve wore them every day this week. Well worth any breaking in that you have to do. If they are the style you were dreaming of like me then give them a little break in period. Zappos is amazing to allow us to try them for 364 days and still be able to return them if there is no sign of wear or if we haven’t worn them outside. So I try all my new shoes on for hours. Do housework in then up and down stairs. I have tiny feet with lots of Boney points that are all over my feet and can be rubbed raw within 5 min or sometimes 50 min. So this company has allowed me to continue to endulge in my shoe collection but just keeping the ones that fit not a collection full of well they look cute but make my feet bleed within an hour but can’t return to local store. I used to have whole rack where those shoes lived. But thanks to Zappos my shoe collection is full of just the shoes I know I can wear all day and look stylish and have my feet not be blistered or bleeding by end of the night. Except I do own a few pair of Chistian LouBoutin killer heels where I must repeat the mantra pain is beauty beauty is pain. Lol. is Yes I need to belong to a 12 step program for shoes. I could wear a different pair every day for a year without rewearing. But shoe size hasn’t changed for me in 30 years and I like to stick to classics for the most part. I will buy trendy maybe 1-2 pair a season if price is right or special occasions. Zappos makes my spoiled shoe loving life much easier. I wear a 6.5 and ordered it and length and width were perfect. My foot is pretty narrow. My one small problem was like what some of the other reviews mentioned that they are hard to get into. Easiest way is to undo the buckle at the back of the boot and roll the boot up like a calf boot. Goes on much easier since it doesn’t have that extra roll cinching it tighter around the entrance space. I then rolled them down and refastened the fastening device to as loose as possible and I wore the shoes for hour or two around the house every once in awhile stopping to see if I could slip my feet out of them any easier and I could so my plan was working. Did that for a few days and now I can slip them on much easier. Not as easy as the majority of ugg boots I’m used to wearing where they go on almost like socks or where you just strep into the luxury of the fur lined loosened of most ugg boots. These boots still have the fun lining and they were the exact boot I had perceived that I was wanting. Do I wish I could get them on without holding on tight and a little tug why yes but with wear I’m convinced the leather will relax and it will one day become like my favorites from uggs with the ease of stepping in and going in style. I left off one star and it was a petty issue. If you are going to buy popular named brand boots it’s still nice to be able To see the famous brands logo where as on these boots the ugg logo is right where that strap and buckle is. And you could try not to buckle them. I know someone out there that fought ran thru your head bc you think they are cute and are trying to talk yourself into getting them. But if you do that you sound like you have jingle bells and maybe cowboy spurs as you walk. But fasten it as loss as possible. I never wear socks in my uggs. I love the feel of the lining on me bare feet. I have a circulatory system issue and can’t tell if my feet are cold or not so usually means I buy boots for the cut and comfy factor. These were just th boots that I had a feeling will be the next big hit. Just a little taller than last years ankle boot trend. Love love love them.

This UGG boot is truly waterproof and comfortable. My only issue is the hardware at the back of the boot...you cannot get the boot on without undoing this hardware and to wear the boot without the shaft turned down showing the shearling lining, the buckle hardware is in reverse. This is very tricky to wear as a boot with the wool lining on the inside! It is possible, but I had to really fight the boot hardware to get it to secure and not flop around. Overall, It's a great boot for winter snow as most every UGG boot is!

I am a size 7 so I got a size 7 and a half. It fits well but I had a hard time getting the shoe on and off. Overall it's still a great buy. Its really comfortable and I love that.
