I bought these in the Slate. They are cute boots and very warm. I agree with some other reviews that they almost look like a rubber boot. They are about the same style and height of a mid-shaft rainboot which lends to that appearance. However, I'm very pleased with them. I didn't have the issues with the shaft being too small, though they are fitted on my calf. I've worn them with jeans tucked in and they looked cute. They do buckle at the ankle a bit, but not uncomfortably.

the toe is very narrow. they are skinny footed boots. they are gorgeous to look at. they are not made for wide feet. if you have a size 10 like me, order an 11 so you can easily get your foot into them. the ankle up to the leg of the boot is beautiful. the toes look like cheap rubber boots - which is weird because they are uggs. the toes do not look like the color of the rest of the boot - they look wet, almost as if on purpose which I didnt like - I had to return because they were too tight to easily get feet into. I did not order next size up because 1) they were out of stock and I didnt want to wait, but 2) the coloring of the toes looking wet made me not purchase correct size.

I ordered up a full size from my usual and I’m glad I did. I would recommend ordering up a size to a size and half. I love the style.

The shoes run small. So get a half size bigger. It's really difficult to put on the shoes, but once you have them on, they feel fine. It's also a real struggle to take them off. They should have made this a full zipper instead of a zipper by the ankle.

I'm usually a size 5, but with socks, I had no wiggle room and my feet started hurting. Got a half size up. It feels really comfortable. However, it is tight around the ankle and is a hassle to put on and take off. But with the style and after getting used to it within 5-10 minutes, I couldn't return it. We will see how well it does in the rain!

I am still on the fence with these boots. I was expecting more of a sturdy leather dress boot and didn't understand some of the other reviews until I tried these on myself. While they appear well-made and sturdy, there is a 'looseness' to the fit around the ankle that makes them look like really nice rubber boots. They won't be quite nice enough looking to wear with slim dress pants or skirts, but they will be perfect for winter walks and slushy bad weather. I will probably use these as a replacement for my older 'duck boots' and keep them due to their comfort. I have foot problems and usually require a larger toe box. I ordered up half a size and think they feel good.

These boots are super cute and I really wanted to love them but they felt too snug in the calf area. They would be great with a skirt but not with leggings.

First off, these are super cute and seemed very warm. Unfortunately, they seem to be a half size small,and the calf area is rather snug. It would be very hard to wear them with leggings and certainly not jeans. I would say that my calves are a normal size so if you want to wear these boots with skirts or under jeans then they are perfect, but that is not what I need them for so I must send them back.

While I like these boots they did feel a little too snug with a pair of winter socks. I will be returning them and ordering a half size up to see how that goes.

Super cute - but with the lining at the top of the boot you're pants will have to be super thin to keep the boot from scrunching up at the ankle

These boots are awesome. Stylish and waterproof! They look great and feel great. My ONLY complaint is they are hard to get off. I travel a lot and I’m too afraid to wear them in an airport because I will need at least two people assisting me to get them off in security. Lol!! Hopefully they will loosen up a bit so I can remove them easier. The things we do for fashion. Still love them.

Very well made boot but somewhat difficult putting on due to the shorter length zipper. Would have been much easier to get on and off with a full length zipper -- and I have very thin calves and ankles. My size 7 was true to size though. Returned because of zipper.

I ordered my normal shoe size and they are very difficult to get off and on. They are some of the most uncomfortable boots I have ever worn! They collapse right where the ankle meets the top of the foot on the outside and I get blisters within 10-15 minutes. I have even tried putting in various pieces trying everything to keep the boot straight and not creasing or collapsing. The boots are warm and waterproof and I was so excited when I got them. Every time I try and wear them they get worse. I have never had this problem with boots before especially UGGs. I thought they would get more comfortable as they got worn in or I would have returned the product before wearing them outside. So now they just sit on the shelf and I am trying to find another pair of tall, warm, water proof boots at a reasonable price since I already wasted so much money on these.

I loved the style - felt great in. But that odd ankle zipper was challenging to zip and it buckled. Wish it had been a full zipper - then I would have kept them!!

Received this boot the day after I ordered. Love the look of the boot and true to size fit. My only problem was the small ankle zipper which was either sewed in crooked or just protruded in enough that it rubbed my ankle. Wanted these boots to work for me, but that one area just hurt when I tried to walk. So returning them. I really don't like the ankle zipper rather than a full side zipper as it makes it difficult to get the boots on with slim legged jeans. Probably would not be a problem with leggings tho.

The half-way zipper made it hard to put the shoe on. Also, it caused bunching of the leather around the ankles. The calf was tight and so was the foot.

I ordered a size up so the boot would fit with socks, first try the short inside zipper buckled and would not zip. tried again without socks same issue, plus the fabric inside the zipper would impede zipping to close.

These boots looked great out of the box but when I put them on the leg was quite large. There was also a hard rough seam that rubbed against my ankle and that made them not possible. They do have nice lining on the leg portion and seem to have sturdy construction. Too bad they were uncomfortable.

I am usually a true 7.5, these were so small i couldn't even get them on. The toe is very pointy as opposed to ugg's usual more rounded toe. I assume they are truly waterproof but didn't test them as i returned this pair. The calf portion is pretty thick - makes my slender calves look quite large. I did order the size 8 and am considering keeping them as they are warm and allegedly waterproof.
