These are super cute. I live in the north so they are great for snowy days when I'll be somewhere where I won't be changing from snow boots to shoes, such as church or shopping, when I don't want to look frumpy and don't want to look like I'm actually wearing snow boots. I was frustrated at myself for listening to all the people who said to size up. I needed my exact size and sizing up was a mistake and I had to make an exchange which meant I couldn't wear them for a week. I wish the zipper was a nice black nylon zipper. Instead it's a utilitarian metal zipper which looks out of place. The ties in the back are way too long. Right now the soles squeak across any floor that's not carpet or pavement so I hope that stops soon. I do think the sole could be more rugged. The entire shaft is NOT shear lined. Only the very bottom of the sole is (not the top of the foot). Because my intention with these boots is to wear them around town running errands and going to church AND look stylish whilst doing so yet being clad in adequate weatherproof boots, the lack of shearling is okay for me. I imagine most people are not looking to play in the snow in these so they're probably fine for most people.
