I wear a 15 shoe so they fit well. The width and sizing is correct.

Because of the steel toes, these Keens aren't quite as comfortable as the other Keens I own. They are also a bit heavier. Overall they seem to be be a pretty good work boot!

I have hard to fit fit, I am flat footed, pronated and had a broken bone in one foot that requires a slightly more lofty shoe in order to fit. These shoes fit out of the box and asa bonus do not have laces that are excessively long.

Solid boot. I love the steel toe and sturdiness of the boot. My feet full safe from any falling objects. Tennis shoes are more comfortable, but nowhere near the strength of this boot. Overall comfort is good, might need inserts for myself due to genetic lack of a good arch.

I've never had steel toed boots before, but wanted a little extra protection around the horses and figured I'd give these a try. They are significantly heavier than hiking or other non steel toed work boots, which of course I knew when I bought them. You probably get used to that after a while, but it was wearing these that made me truly appreciate the comfort of a good hiking shoe or other work boot without the steel. The only slight flaw with this particular pair was that the metal in the right toe was bent lower than the left. It was making awkward contact with my toes, which would have been reason enough to repair or return them. But I've had other Keen shoes with no problems at all, so this was probably a fluke. My conclusion is that these would be great boots for those who truly need the steel toes, but the extra weight and bulkiness would only be justified if necessary for fairly constant, heavy duty work.
Since this is the first posted review for these shoes on Zappos, I don't want to discourage anyone from trying them. They seem to be very sturdy, and like most other Keen shoes they're great looking. They just weren't for me.

Comfortable work boot for someone who does lots of walking. I had to return them because these are NOT ESD boots. I had them tested and they did not pass. The ESD description for these boots is incorrect.

these boots seemed about a size larger. I tried a 10.5 in one boot and it was too tight on my big toe. Went up half a size in these boots and they are definitely too big. My foot did not want to set down in the heel either, had to pull the shoe strings really tight to keep my heel in place. I have had several pairs of Keen boots and really like them.
I'd also recommend:
still like the brand Keen boots

For me was too heavy on the toes in comparison with others steel toes I have used before. They look nice but not a good fit for me.

I ordered these boots twice and both times had to return them defective. The lining in the toe, attached to the upper is not attached and droops down and bunches up. When i process the return there is no way in the return to tell you what is defective so just that it is defective. So im guessing you just ship them back to me when i re order them. That or a lot of these boots have the same problem.. ive never had problems with Keen in the past.

There is a liner surrounding the steel toe inside the boot and it drapes over my toes in a weird and uncomfortable way. I don't remember this feature in the same shoes sized 12. There might be something wrong with these boots.

I wanted to love these, but they seemed to have some material issues inside the shoes. I ordered a pair, they felt weird, I sent them back and got a replacement pair, and same thing. It's like the material was crumpled in the toe area and even besides that, they just weren't that comfortable. So I did more research and the Braddock boot from Keen got incredible reviews. I just received them and they live up to their reviews. I always put in another really good orthotic because I have had plantar Fasciitis for many years, and although it is better, I want the extra comfort regardless. That said, I immediately know these boots, which are steel toe, will be amazing. I work 10 hour shifts on concrete and so I need amazing boots. These are worth the extra $ if you can swing it.

Bought a pair of these in size 8.5EE because they had the highest rating of any of the safety toe mid tops and I was happy with the years of use I got out of my previous 4 pairs of safety toe Keens, 2 pairs of Keen Atlanta somethings and 2 pairs of 6" boots. Upon arrival they didn't look particularly wide but initially the shoes felt fine. I was good the first 3-4 hours wearing them every day but then my feet would hurt the rest of the day so I figured I just needed to break them in. A few weeks later and after a few hours use every day they still hurt my pinky toe and across the top of my foot so I went back to one of my old pairs. My old ones needed new insoles so when I got some I decided to try em in these to see if it would somehow help and figured out why they were growing so uncomfortable and painful. My old Keen boots say constructed in America and these say made in China. I compared the insoles and these 8.5EE are much narrower than any of my previous Keens. Next to my regular 8.5M Airwalks these safety toe boots themselves seem narrower. This is the second sizing problem i've had with Keen in the last couple years and I can no longer recommend them. Since made in China 8.5EE seems to mean really narrow for Keen instead of wide it's time for me to find a new brand.

This boots are rated for Electrical Hazard, NOT Electrostatic Discharge as advertised. Then they made my feet hurt and I had to get rid of them.
