Super comfortable, but I wasn’t a fan of where the boot hit on my ankle.

Beautiful leather, but the boot looks HUGE. I ordered in 8.5 which I normally wear in Born, but the toe was too long (creased at the wrong place when taking a step). It might fit better a half size down, but looked too clunky for my taste. Perhaps a darker color would be better.

I am a size 12, and usually buy Clarks, as a point of reference. These are attractive boots, but compared to my similarly styled Clarks boots, they are about half an inch longer... obviously, I have really large feet, and I think this makes it look even moreso. They are snug in the width, but not moreso than some of my Clarks. (Although the width seems to vary across my Clarks.) The burgundy color is not as deep as I'd understood from the images, though of course that's a common computer problem. I would definitely prefer a darker shade. I also didn't realize from the online pics that these are styled with a darker color at the toe area, which is not my preference. On the plus side, I like that these have a lug sole, so they're functional as well as stylish. I am probably going to send these back, since the red shade is a bit "hey, look at me" (as I realized), which is maybe not the right idea with them looking so very large on my feet.

I bought this boot because in the Q&As they said it has a removable insole. WRONG! The insole is NOT removable. I have wide feet and I ordered a full size bigger in order to accommodate my wide foot AND my orthotics. Now I have a pair of tight boots since the insole is not removable and the thickness of my orthotics make my foot quite uncomfortable. But I do like the style, simple (although the zipper on the outside is a pain to close) and with a comfortable heel. So now I have these boots that make my feet looks like I have two clown feet and I am trying to stretch them a bit so they might become actually comfortable. I have been ordering way too many boots and returned them. At least I like the style of these, so I am willing to give them a try.

Love the look, love the heel, love the boot! Except... too narrow for my size 8 foot. Sadly, sending back.

I loved the look of this basic boot, but the the leather was stiff and uncomfortable in the bend of the foot. I'll be returning.

I've been looking for burgundy or dark red boots for ages and thought these Keefes would be a good fit. I usually love Born booties and have 3-4 pairs. These, however, have an outside zipper -- which rubs one of my ankles, and the zipper is hard to reach to pull up, since it's angled. They fit well (I wear a 9.5 in shoes and a 9 in Born boots), and have plenty of room for light sox. Medium amount of arch support, which is essential to me. Just not good enough to keep.

I really thought I found another great pair of black booties. I have these in the dark grey. For some reason, these are narrow and small. What is Born doing with the sizing of shoes lately.

Not supportive enough for my feet. Look more "cowboy boot" like tjan I prefer.

Super-nice boot with quality leather and a great, non-slip sole. The gray color is on the darker side and will go with anything. I was surprised to find these are a bit too narrow for me. Gorgeous boot, though.

This boot felt huge when I put it on. The toe of the boot is very firm so it was hard to feel where my toe was exactly. They looked very large on my feet, too.

This gorgeous boot has a sleek finish and does not feel cheap or flimsy. The color is gorgeous and I love the low heel and non-slip sole. This style runs very narrow, however and I will be exchanging them for a different model.

This is a really cute boot in person and seems extremely comfortable with a soft flannel inside and cushiony insole. I usually wear a 5.5 / 6 and ordered a 6 since they didn't offer a 5.5 for this style. The size 6 is huge, seems bigger than other size 6 shoes in general. Sadly, I will be returning these and still on the hunt for something similar in my size.

I ordered these 1/2 size smaller than recommended, but they were still loose unless I wore heavy socks. The sole stuck out past the boot and made it look clunky. not what I was looking for. Returning it.

I love these booties; they are simple, elegant and fit me perfectly. I ordered my usual size (38 or 8, foot neither wide nor narrow; I think I'm between a 7 1/2 and 8 but almost always wear an 8 or 38 European. For some reason, Born fits me perfectly. I ordered 3 Born booties: Keefe, Trinculo and Helka. I loved all of them and it was hard to choose. The Keefe in black was a bit dressier than the other two and reminded me of my Frye knee high boots. The sole on the Keefe is similar to the Trinculo and the bootie is very well made. I decided I really wanted the more casual Trinculo, but it was a hard decision. If you are looking for a sleek bootie, you couldn't go wrong with these. I was sad to return them but ultimately happy with the decision to get the Tinculo,
