I first ordered these booties in a 7.5 which is my usual size however, they were too short and tight across the toe area. I reordered in a size 8 and they were much better. I found them to be comfortable around the house. I am just not certain the shaft is high enough. You have to wear very low no shows socks or they will show. I like to have a little skin showing between my leggings and the boot tops and it is more challenging with these. I do like the style and the fact that there is a piece of leather stitched up the back for some contrast to the suede. Also, the soles and heels are well made and quite flexible. I will probably end up keeping them as I have not found any other booties of a style and quality I like. I will spray them with waterproof spray to protect the suede. As always, Zappos comes through with great products and free shipping and returns so, you can't go wrong.

Comfortable, nice boots, low heel which I was looking for. I ordered the brown and i don't like that the heel and sole are a very light brown - I don't like the contrast with the boot color, so I'm returning them.

These boots were adorable, but not as comfortable as I'd like. They felt a bit narrow in the heel. I returned them.

insole does not come out- orthopedic insoles won't then fit in. It's a beautiful shoe but unfortunately I have to return it. :(

Greet boot, feels good and looks good. Overall too narrow for my medium foot. If you could find a way to stretch it out with a boot stretcher or something similar then they would be wearable. A little extra room would make them perfect. I don’t have the time, so returning the boot.

This style runs small so I would suggest ordering a half size up. They were too wide in the heel for my foot so I'll be sending them back. Thank you Zappos for making returns so easy!

You can not go wrong when you buy a Clark Brand shoe. These boots fit like a glove.

These were very cramped in the toe box; not so much the width but the height of the toe area. Normally I associate Clarks with being very true to size with fit and quality, but these had to go back!

These are so cute but too narrow for my foot. I only had a thin sock on and it was very snug and would not be comfortable after time. So bummed I'll have to return them.

A couple other reviewers commented on the toebox being snug, and I had hoped that because I have narrower feet that these boots might work for, Sadly, that is not the case. They are so cute, and have good cushioning in the sole, but unless they stretch quite a bit I am worried they will be uncomfortable after wearing for more than a few minutes.

The style is cute but I felt like it would be hard to walk in. The leather around the top of your foot ankle is tight and just trying them on walking around my house made it difficult and I could see it hurting after a fe hours. With that being said I do have problem feet and plantar fasciitis and this is not enough support for me.

These were ok, but a bit stiff and the toe looked worn. I see now in the photos that this is what they are supposed to look like, but I did not love the look

I was really excited to get these shoes. Albeit, slightly apprehensive about the zipper as I have a pair of clark booties that the zipper failed on after a lot of use. I rolled the dice and ordered these and i couldn't fit my foot in the shoe. I am not sure if sizing up would fix it because it had more to do with the constraints by the zipper side making the shoe more narrow and unforgiving as well as the leather heel which was also not forgiving. Really awesome, stylish bootie, but did not fit at all. I returned them and ordered a lace up pair from another company. I am a big clarks fan so a little sad these didn't work out.

Liked the style of this boot; ordered my usual size 8 and it was tight (thus the 2 star rating). I'm ordering both colors in a half size up. Keeping my fingers crossed.

I wanted to love these boots, but as others reported they slipped in the heel. I just knew it would be a problem.

I really liked how these boots looked. However, my heel slipped a lot. There is a zipper on the outside of the shoe and it rubbed against my foot. So I am returning these shoes.

I had hoped that the other reviews were inaccurate, but I just returned these because of the width. I've never purchased wide shoes or had a problem like this, but these were super narrow and tight. The color is pretty, though.

Received these today, and sorry to say gonna send them back. I have bought Clark’s in the past, and love them. But these were a size too big for my feet. Afraid to go down a size because I had trouble getting my foot in these and they were to big once I did get them in. I love the look of these, love that they are pretty much flat. When I did have them on they felt great and probably would have been super comfy to wear all day.

I ordered three pairs of these and am returning them all after deciding they just aren't going to work. The first pair fit well but had a missing pull tag on the zipper which made them impossible to zip up, the second had a gash in the leather of the toe and felt more narrow than the first pair, and the third and last pair I ordered were ridiculously tight in width. Clearly the shoes are inconsistent in width from one pair to another and the finish of the leather is sloppy. Not the quality I'm used to in Clarks shoes. Cute style but very disappointed in fit and quality. Ended up purchasing a pair of Sofft "Bellis" suede boots instead and I love them! Luckily, returns with Zappos are easy and I eventually found a great pair of boots. Still more convenient than driving to the mall.

Couldn't even get my foot in! Honestly, I felt like a wicked step sister trying to cram my foot in to the same size (9) that I wear in 99% of shoes including other Clarks. Very strange. I do have a high arch and somewhat tall foot, but not freakishly so! Buying shoes that fit is not typically a problem.

Full disclosure I have a shallow foot and a narrow heel, so finding a shoe that fits is difficult. Overall it felt small and cramped except the heel which was really loose and made my heel slip. Sent them back.

These run surprisingly small. I have another pair of Clarks ankle booties in a size 6. With this boot, the 6.5 was too small, at least with medium weight socks. They also run quite narrow. That is good for me because I have a narrow foot. If you have an average width foot, I suggest ordering a wide. I didn't find the foot bed comfortable. Finally, brown leather is considerably darker than pictured. They are still cute and I would have kept them in the darker color if they otherwise fit and were comfortable but they were neither. All in all, very disappointing.
