I love these boots, and was so happy that they fit my wider calves! The stretchy gusset at the top made all the difference. I'm so glad that I gave them a try!

Beautiful but but they run small. I am trying again one half size up.

These boots run extremely small I ordered a 9.5 and I am usually between a 9 or 9.5 and these boots were extremely tight on my feet. They are nice boots for those with narrow feet

I loved these boots except the calf width was way too big so I had to return them. I ordered a half size up as mentioned in other reviews and the fit was perfect. Wish the calf width was better.

Beautiful boot - exactly what I was looking for. Unfortunately, one of the boots is super tight! I wear Medium width shoes, but the right show was so tight on my foot I must reluctantly return these. The other shoe fits just fine - it's as if the one shoe was messed up in manufacturing. I have one other pair of Born boots in the same exact size and width that fit like a dream. I am going to order another of the same pair, hoping the one boot is, in fact, an anomaly and malformed in some way. *crosses-fingers*

Really liked these boots, but returning as they were too narrow. Sole is very comfortable, I walk a lot and would have enjoyed these boots if they didn't feel too tight.

Beautiful shoe, loved the toe and overall elegance. But it somehow slumped unattractively around the ankle, like there was too much material there. So decided to return it.

The pirate slouch is very much there. I have smaller ankles. I’m returning

Brutal box for the foot, smashes the knuckles, very hard and rigid. Beautiful boot, but would definitely order half to one size up.

These are beautiful boots. The color is lovely and the suede feels nice. They are very comfortable. I usually wear an 8.5 and sometimes need to size up in boots. I ordered the 9 and they are too big. The boots are also a little loose around the calf. I am returning these and ordering a different Born style in the same color.. reviewers said that boot is a little more fitted in the calf. These boots are great just not the right fit for me.

Well made. Good looking. Comfortable and true to size in foot but too tight in ankle and calf for me.

Boot was lovely looking, but it didn't fit me well. I love Born and have several pairs of sandals and ankle-high boots from them. Typically a size 8 fits me perfectly, and I love them because they are stylish, well-made, durable, and super comfortable (even for loooong walks). However, my usual size in these boots felt way too narrow, and almost even too short. An 8.5 may have been better. These boots also bunched unattractively around the ankle, so I decided to return them rather than try a bigger size. But, I liked the height and the calf circumference was just right to fit over jeans, and my muscular calves, comfortably. If you have narrow feet (or order a half-size up) these may work well for you!!

I LOVE the style of this boot. It’s (almost) everything I’ve been searching for, for a few years. The square-ish toe is exactly what I want. What makes me so sad is that the shaft is just too wide. It has a stretchy capability at the top of the boot if necessary, so I can’t understand why in addition to that, it is designed to be so wide/ gappy? I do not have super skinny legs, but there is about a 1.5-2 inch gap between my leg and the boot. I wanted these boots to wear with skirts and leggings, however the gap in the shaft of this boot makes it look silly. I am reluctantly returning these boots.

These boots were too wide at the calf. Otherwise they were comfortable and cute, but I hate the pirate look so I’m sending them back.

These are beautiful and comfortable boots, however, the quality is not at all what I have come to expect from Born over the years. The zipper on the right boot after only a month of wear and the tread is wearing off on the heel. I have worn these only moderately. Other Born boots that I have had for more than 5 years have held up great.

Too narrow in the foot! I found these boots to be perfect in the calves but way too tight through the foot and I do not have a wide foot.

Love everything about these boots except the fit. The arch feels narrow and made my feet hurt as soon as I pulled them on. They go back tomorrow.

Gorgeous boots but the calf is huge and isn't appealing. If they reduced the calf size then my wife would definitely want this boot.

I buy the Born brand for the comfort and this boot is not comfortable. It also runs small in the foot. Cute boot otherwise.
