I have had to use a boot strecher to get these boot to fit. I never had to do that before.

As a land surveyor, I spent many years wanting a boot that has all of the features of this boot. I'm on my third pair now, (they get worn every day for extensive field work so they do wear out in time), and I will wear them until I retire.

Warm and comfortable, but a coworker and I both bought them and both pairs started to split at the toe bend within less than two months of use. Very unfortunate given that we were working in Antarctica and obviously had no way to replace them during our contracts. Guess they're good if you're only wearing them casually but....they're a work boot. I'd expect them to hold up better.

Worm and waterproof

I was excited to get these for work but I knew as soon as I put them on and took a couple steps that I would be sending them back. The top of the boot where it bends dug into the top of my foot when I walked. It was painful and extremely uncomfortable. The boot is also very stiff and rigid overall. The materials feel plasticky despite being leather and the laces on the bottom half are really just for show because it's impossible to tighten them. I tried to convince myself they would break in but deep down I knew they wouldn't so I returned them.

I've been wearing the brown davenports for years. I've been wanting to try the insulated grey version and I live them all the same.

Very comfortable, warm, and definitely waterproof. Just got done wearing them for 2 day ice and snow storm and theyve been fantastic!!!

My first pair of Keens. I wear them at work in the wastewater industry. Very comfortable, waterproof, warm, lots of toe room. Better than Redwings/Irish Setters I've been using.

Im in outdoor living construction and these Davenports have been the best boots Ive worn all winter. This is my 2nd season wearing them.

Good fit , but seems extra wide. Maybe because it is a D, but ordered regular/normal.

Good looking warm comfortable boot. Im an equipment operator for the State Highway in the mountains where we get heavy snow. I couldnt ask for anything better in a boot. Other than for Keen to send me boots on the regular for me too test out? Thanks Keen great work

Warm and comfortable boots for all day long small break in time

Been wearing them for a couple weeks now. Im pleased with them and I have recommended them to co workers who already got their orders in.

I have been buying this style of keen boots for years and every time I am reminded how good they are. I work in the environmental field on all different types of surfaces and when it gets cold my feet are toasty warm! As for the color, it grew on me. All good.

Boot is wider than previous ones Ive bought

Boots have great traction especially in cold and icy conditions. Fairly lightweight but sturdy.

We allow this boot in lieu of Ice cleats in most conditions and the company justifies paying for them because the traction is excellent on Ice.

I have only worn these for a couple of weeks. I will say that they are starting to finally break in some. The Davenport seems to be a little more stiff or stout when it comes to breaking a boot in. I am hopeful that will lead to good durability and longevity with these boots. Previous Keen footwear has been very nice and comfortable to break in and is part of the reason I came back yet again. The past two pairs of boots have outlasted 3 sets each of laces each. Not sure if Keen can procure a more durable yet flexible lace but if thats the most investment I need to put back into a set of work boots that can last me two seasons then I will work with that.
