I have worn this shoe, and nothing but this shoe, for 8 years. I need a new pair every year and a half. I love it. And Zappos is the only place I can find the 4E width I need.

I purchased 10-4E in the grey/grey color combination. They are terrific for my "loaf of bread" feet. I have wide feet in the front AND large girth/circumference throughout my feet. The best shoe size for me would likely be a 9.75, but that's how it goes. With thicker socks, these are very comfortable. The only thing I wish I had known was that walking shoes are NOT sneakers. These are much stiffer throughout, but offer excellent support. I woke up without knee pain, weird foot issues or lower back pain. I wish more manufacturers offered the excellent range of sizes that New Balance offers.

Fit & size fine. Fast shipping. Material except for Velcro, which I found probably not as long lasting with my use, as I generally use a pair of shoes. Shoes were perfect, however, when I got them. My issues were: 1) arch felt too high, 2) aesthetically, not as pleasing as I thought it would. 3) The other pair of shoes, which I bought an about two before (WW928GR3) , I am keeping. They fit just fine and I love them. I will continue to buy my shoes from Zappos.

I have purchased other colors in the new balance 928, but this is the gray/beige. It seems to fit better in the heel and still has a wide toe box even in a narrow width. The color is more attractive and closer to beige than it looked online, and goes with everything. I would give it 5 stars if there was as much cushioning as the 928V1 from years ago. The uppers are mostly leather, with some mesh, and the soles are not slippery, but do collect small debris like pine needles in the narrow slits of the tread. It is a little uncomfortable along the top edge against the outer ankle bone, and the tongue should be longer so it doesn't push into the ankle. The leather is best for longer wear and can be waterproofed with mink oil or hubers shoe grease. Shown in size 11 AA, womens.

I have worn the 928 through various iterations and was glad when the v3 came out and apparently changed the toe box - the v2 toe box felt less deep than the prior version. This pair - even though it's v3 - does not have a deep enough toe box and my large toe presses against the end of the shoe and the top.

Toe box was a bit too small for me. Big toe kept hitting the inside of toe box. Just a pinch of too much arch for me.

I've owned 2 pairs of these in the blue suede and gray and loved them. That choice seems to no longer be available, so I ordered the leather in black even though I found them very unattractive. Same size. The leather are too short and my big toe hits. Mind you I order these in one size larger than I normally wear. So I guess I will have to look for different shoes. I don't know why manufacturers change products when they are already great.

These were big in a 7WW. I would need to try the 6.5 and then who knows about the width. I wear NB all the time so this was a surprise. Next time I need smaller sizes in NB. If you try these, get a smaller size for sure, or buy 2 sizes to try the right fit at home.

excellent support shoe with wide and tall toe box

The fit and size were good. They are probably quality shoes. I did not like the way the right one felt on top; I couldn't get it to feel good on my foot. It remained too loose. Perhaps I do not need so much of an athletic shoe. I am sorry to have to return them; I am disappointed because I really liked them. Thanks Zappos for being so easy to work with. you will continue to be my store for shoes.
