It was a great shoe but simply did not work for me.

Have purchased NB for years for my nursing shoes. Provide great support. Now that I am retired I practically live in them. They really help my balance as well.

This is my 2nd pair I put about 12 miles at work every day keeps my feet and back from hurting!

All leather is a plus. They're comfortable and fit properly. I'd recommend this style.

I was looking for a black shoe I could wear for winter and there was nothing in the 1540 style that would work. I have several foot issues and NB1540 has been my go to. I was pleasantly surprised when I put on the new shoe that it works for me. Have to have a roomy toe box and plenty of support. I did buy some beefed up orthotics to go in the shoes also because as I said I have issues. Now have a "winter" shoe all be it not the stylish pretty shoes I long to wear but haven't been able to for years.

Its comfortably , plenty of room I have wide feet always have a hard time finding shoes

I have been wearing New Balance for years. I have wide feet and they are very comfortable for this teacher who is on her feet all day!!

I have purchased this same shoe for many years. I wear these shoes around my house as I am unable to walk barefoot. As always, this shoe is somewhat stiff at first but it breaks in nicely after one to two days of wear. It's extremely comfortable and slipper like. I think this shoe runs slightly large but I cannot really give an accurate comment because I like my shoes to run large to accomodate my custom made orthotics.

These shoes need zero breaking in. Comfortable..stylish..would like it to have a little more tread to prevent slips in the wet weather.

I like the all-white leather. (Would be nice if they came in other colors other than black.) I also like that they are made in USA. I need the Roll-bar for support.

These are my "go to shoes" for my twice daily walks with the dog! Love them, especially for their comfort.

I had 2 back surgeries and these have been the go to shoe for my back pain. The pain goes away while I wear these. Very well made. I have worn them for a coupe yrs now. I get a new PR about twice a year.

I chose these because they were close to what I had worn before. My feet are wide and I need a big toe box. These shoes fit well and I'm glad to have them.

I love this shoes they fit all my needs. I have wide feet & I wear orthotics, so I need all the room I can get. Infact, these are the only shoes that I can wear as the width in theses come from the mid area of foot to the toes. Other shoes I have worn, the sole is all shaped like an hour glass, to narrow in the mid area. And the 928's have a roll bar in them which helps me as I do have weak ankles. The durability is good. Just wish the outer soles lasted longer, But I am heavy on my feet.

I had been using an old pair as my garden shoes since they helped stabilize my feet as I bend and reach to work my garden. My last pair of shoes was comfy, but I felt my toes were cramped and they didn't support my feet as well. So, I tried the 928's. They were great but a smidge short for my larger foot. Going up a half size did the trick. So comfy and roomy.
