I have owned a pair of these for quite a while and had to recently replace them. The shoes are comfortable for walking the dogs or going to the store, or really any activity you need sturdy shoes for.

I was advised to buy this shoe to wear with my corrected orthotic for my ankle.

Having been informed months ago that NB would no longer carry this style, I could not be happier or more grateful to see it again featured. I told myself that I could not possibly be the only woman in America needing these shoes desperately, and apparently, I'm not! This is the ONLY everyday casual shoe that, diabetic, having had over a dozen foot surgeries, and with a heel far more slender than my forefoot, I have been able to wear over the past 10+ years. They are sturdy, uncomplaining, last forever, and have a commodious toe area. And they are even attractive. Thank you, New Balance!!

The New Balance sneakers are quality. They are made well they look good and they feel good. This particular shoe ran a little bit big for me and I had to send it back. I have polyneuropathy and foot drop in one foot and new balance is the only sneaker that gives me the support and cushioning I need. I will be ordering the 860 V4 in lieu of this shoe.

I just LOVE the New Balance 928 shoes. I have had 2 knee replacements and a tendon in my ankle is partially torn,so I need a lot of support and stability with my shoes. The 928's give me that and much more. I really like the comfortable and cool mesh style the best.

This is my 4th pair of NB extra wide because they FIT! This time I opted for a sand-for the summer- instead of my usual white. The fit is good, as usual, no break-in period necessary. If you are like me and have bunions, this is the pair to try, the toe box is just a smidge roomier...thank goodness.

Bought this for my mother-in-law. Toe box is roomy. The extra wide is perfect for her, she has bunions and needs the room. Can also count on New Balance sizing. Even though this was a different style then the last purchase, 9.5 fits. The shoe has the support she needs. I was glad it was offered in beige. She wears these all the time and white just sticks out. She wanted something that was less obvious. Would love NB to offer more styles in extra wide and beige. My mother-in-law is very pleased with her shoes.

I have a fallen arch and hammertoes. These are the best shoes I have found for foot comfort. They allow me to exercise again. I would like it if they came in other colors, like navy for example. They allow plenty of room for toes, and the support is wonderful. I can easily use my arch inserts.

i bought this particular pair of shoes not because I need them now, but because I wanted to make sure to have them when my current identical pair wears out. I have small, wide feet and wear orthotics. New Balance is the only brand I buy. Unfortunately, in the past when I found a good NB walking shoe, I made the mistake of assuming it would be available in the future. To my dismay, the company would come out with a new version of the same shoe, and the new version would cause me problems, so I'm good for a year. I also bought the white version for the coming summer, but this light gray-brown color would be fine for winter or summer. I love this shoe.

My wife loves these for work 5 days a week stocking in the largest supermarket in Vermont. The only thing she does not like is they wear out after only 6 months. As long as they keep her 60 yr old body happy without too many aches & pains then I'm happy too.
