I received the Elisa silver pendant necklace in platinum drusy as a graduation gift from my boyfriend in June. I?ve worn it barely a month. Almost everywhere on the necklace ? chain, clip, back, & front is tarnished to the point that I cannot wear it. I HAVE NOT showered in it, sunbathed in it, exercised in it, been in the pool/ocean with it? nothing that would alter the color or look..

I got this necklace as a gift a little less than 2 years ago. In 6 months or less I noticed that a clear coating began to peel off of the necklace and the chain looked dark and dirty. Kendra Scott replaced my necklace for free and I was pretty happy. The second necklace, however, is now even worse. The plating has completely chipped off, leaving me with a brass necklace that turns my neck green. This is after I've taken much better care of the second necklace because I didn't want it to peel like the first one. Unless you only wear turtlenecks there's no way to avoid damage. My boy friend was very proud of this gift because I loved it so much, but I can't wear it anymore. Also, the necklace was supposed to be a gold chain, but always looked silver in my opinion. It never matched my other gold jewelry.

I was a little reluctant to buy at first because of the cost. I'm upset it did though because it is completely tarnished and turned my neck green. The stone lost its initial beauty and looks trashy now. Don't waste your money

Very cheap quality. My wifes necklace broke in one day. Because of the material used to make the necklace, it cant be fixed. I will never buy from again.

The pendent was the size of a piece of rice . Very disappointed for the price . I returned it .

The color is very different from what it shows online and not as sparkly. The color is more of a Jade color not emerald.

The chain and border of stone is not as gold as it looks in picture

Was very excited when I saw this Kendra Scott necklace online ordered it and when it arrived was sadly disappointed I ordered April and the diamond looked dinky and cheap. The necklace it’s self was very very small. Definitely didn’t expect that at all.

Would not recommend this item. Chain is extremely thin and has broken after four days. This was a birthday gift for my daughter

The necklace is nice but the chain should be adjustable. It was a little too short for me. Not all neck sizes are the same!

I love this necklace! BUT! I can't wear it because it flips up whenever I move. So disappointed.

It's a very nice looking necklace, but I've only had it for two months and it has not been exposed to any water, sweat, or perfume, and it is turning green and smells like cheap metal. I am very disappointed because I own 5 pieces of Kendra jewelry and only one turned out ok.

Chain of necklace is extremely short. More like a choker.

The stone in my necklace is missing the glitter on half of it and looks like it's trying to fall out of the necklace.

I received this necklace as a birthday present and I absolutely fell in love. I wore it all the time while still keeping the wear and care notes that comes with it. After about 2 months I noticed this rusting. So I thought I have messed up the instructions. I BOUGHT ANOTHER ONE AND THE SAME THING HAPPENED. The second time I was so cautious I didn't even wear the necklace unless I had an event or dressed niced. But again after 2 months it rusted and left my neck green. I am utterly disappointed; a necklace at such a price rage should last more than 2 months. Now I'm left with 2 gross, rusted necklaces and $170 down the drain.

This is the only Kendra piece that I can say I am truly disappointed with. I'm sure I wouldn't have bought it in the store. It has no iridescent to it. Just plain dull. Should have returned it.

I bought this necklace and thought it was beautiful. I have had the necklace for about a year total, and after about 5 months it might of well have been costume jewelry. The gold plating completely faded away until you are left with an ugly brown chain and setting. In addition, they say "don't use perfume or lotion or shower" with it and it will stay pretty, FALSE. Literally if you just wear the necklace it is going to not hold up. To be such an "esteemed" company you would think they would stand behind their jewelry. In summary, if you want the necklace to stay pretty leave it in the box.

I bought this necklace for my daughter for Christmas 2017 and the finish is very tarnished. I didn't learn my lesson and bought her a ring from Kendra Scott for Christmas 2018 and it's turning her finger green. This jewelry is junk. I won't buy it again.

I got this necklace as a gift from my boyfriend and with in 3 months (I have taken proper care of it as it is special to me) and it is so tarnished! I'm embarrassed to wear it anymore because of how bad it looks. I'm so disappointed and I'm sad that someone spent $60 for this necklace for me. Thought about buying myself a new one to replace my current one but I refuse to spend more than $10 on a necklace this poor of quality!
