Well, at least they got the length right. They are definitely more snug in the toe box than an SL2 Last should be so I sent them back and ordered a 6E width. The other issue is that there seems to be no support or very little so I had to add a NB Sport Insole which I use anyway. Still not great support but I'm desparate for new shoes since the 928 is now garbage even on the 3rd edition and the other NB shoes have issues as well. A real shame as New Balance used to be so reliable and great. Not any more.

I was desperate to find a replacement for my NB 759s . I can't believe they discontinued the best walking shoe ever made but they did. These are not a good replacement for the 759s. The plastic upper is way too flexible and doesn't give the support that I became accustomed to. The sole isn't as wide as the 759s and when you pick them both up you can tell the difference. About 1/2 as light equals not nearly enough support. I wish when NB retires a shoe especially one as good as the 759 that they put on their website a notice to which replacement would work best and why.

I bought these shoes for work, where I am standing/walking on concrete floors for eight hours per day. Although they are not bad looking, I chose them more for comfort. I like that they are still mostly leather for durability. They do have some mesh on each side near the front which helps keep your feet cooler than all leather. This is a great feature. I went with extra wide and still had room to add gel inserts which complements the already well-cushioned sole. Have worn for a week and have proven to be very comfortable at work. No more sore feet at the end of the day! Thanks Zappos for the great service!

shoes are not wide enough.

I have peripheral neuropathy and do plenty of walking and hiking. I have narrow feet so the b width is a big plus. The fit is very good and the toe box has plenty of room. When I take out the inserts, my orthotics fit great in these shoes. I have been wearing the 847 since they first came out, and through years of distance walks they have been extremely comfortable and supportive. I would highly recommend this model for anyone who does serious walking or just likes very comfortable sneakers. They wear great, and hold up well.

These fit fine and are comfortable and would make a great $75 walking shoe. Just don’t think it is worth $130 based on materials and construction. The gray has a definite bluish shade.

This was a comfortable shoe from the first day of walking. If you appreciate a lighter weight shoe, this one is for you. Nice style and also has a full tongue.

Toe box is significantly smaller than the v2 shoe. I cannot wear these and am going to order a wider size.

I find them a bit stiff and boxy feeling overall. I liked me Asics Gel Tecn Neo Walkers better, but they don't make them in white anymore. The New Balance are OK, but not my favorite

Size 13D felt half size too big. Ordered size 12-1/2D which felt half size too small. No Goldilocks fit for me. The 13D in 847v2 fits great, but not so for the 847v3...in my case. Great shoe otherwise.

I had been to a foot doctor and needed to find a 6E wide shoe . I had to return another pair that was WAY to small form Zappo's .But, This was the best fit for X-tra wide shoes .

This is my second pair of 847s. The first pair was worn out from walking on the pavement so much. I like these shoes. Lightweight and comfortable.

shoes were ordered for husband.. 9 months ago he fell 15ft out of a tree! Right heel shattered. Foot still swollen, needed a wider and longer shoe to accommodate his foot looking like Fred Flintstones feet! Orthotics made to help healing in right foot.. Shoe is excellent in width which is a Size 12 length and 6E Width... Thankful New Balance makes wider widths than most.. Zappos is our choice for shoes...

I bought 5 different brands of shoes to try. These NB were made for my feet. They slipped right in, were not too wide or narrow. The others were snug and somewhat stiff except for the SKECHERS Performance Go Walk Evolution Ultra - 54734 which were too wide and soft (no side support) but extremely light weight. The only thing I don't like about the NB are the reflective toe and heel. I can see these getting scuffed and worn looking over time.

I first ordered a pair of 13 N New Balance shoes, but they felt "a little tight". My wife talked me into returning them before I wore outside - guess my feet are getting wider? I had never returned anything to Zappos before, and was delighted at how easy this was to do - return shipping prepaid. Ordered this pair of 14W on same day I returned first pair - they arrived three days later. This time a perfect fit. I've not yet put my first mile on these but am impressed with comfort and by the soles - which grip to wet rocks pretty well. Grey finish will blend pretty well with the trail dirt ahead - thanks Zappos!

Maybe it was the synthetic leather, but I didn't like the lack of suppleness in these shoes. Close, but didn't work. Great looking shoes.

Well made shoe, but my feet rattle around in them and my ankles hit the side. Feels much wider than 2E.

The 847v3 is a definite step back from the 847v2. I loved the v2 and had 3 pairs. But sadly New Balance has made the v3 stiffer and narrower than the previous version. I wear a 4E width and the v3 is decidedly narrower than the v2. That makes these shoes incredibly uncomfortable compared to previous versions. If this is a trend for New Balance then I have bought my last pair of NB shoes.

I first ordered a pair in "B" width (my standard), but toe box was way too small. I ordered a "D" width and toe box is OK, but overall fit is not so great (too wide). NB must have made some major changes from the v2 shoe. I doubt is I will buy this shoe again.

Sole of shoes started come apart after less than a year. Used for walking on sidewalks and around the house. Surprised because other New Balance shoe have always had good quality. Quality control on this model is a problem.

No traction on tile floors, or wet decks.

These are my 10th pair of New Balance sneakers - I bought them in May 2018, wore them twice, and then went away for 4 months without them. Now that I'm back I've put them back on and worn them 2 more times. I wear them (and all the others i've bought) mostly for walking - I've been satisfied with all the others (that's why I keep buying them) but these are the worst pair I've ever owned. They're cheaply made, have plastic uppers that don't flex, breathe or bend like others and creak when I walk. I am extremely disappointed with them. I no longer have the box and would like to know if I can return them. Thanks.

This shoe width was represent as 6E but it was narrower than an old 4E New Balance shoe I was replacing. Do not buy this shoe if you need the wide size.
