Purchase went smooth, package arrived on time and in good condition; boots had some scratches on them, nothing that major that would encourage me to return them since I use them for work for this reason probably 4.5 in my review

Great quality, great feel, my feet stay warm and dry during this cold season. Boots arrived on time BUT with some scratches, nothing too bad to encourage me to return them because i use them for work not for fashion;I wanna rate them 4.5 for this

I do lawncare for a living. Long days, a lot of walking and in every type of weather that gets thrown at us. So far they have held up well. Pretty warm, very durable and comfortable. Usually my boots do not last longer then 3 months so hopefully these will last a long time.

I have never bought Timberlands before but have heard nothing but great things. My significant other works on A/C in the hot Florida sun and I really liked how they have Electrical hazard soles and waterproof boots when we are in our raining season. Great material, tough, sturdy and high quality work boots.

I was very nervous about buying steel toe work books online, but after reading the reviews here and then reading reviews on consumer trial reports, I went ahead and placed the order. They arrived in 40°F weather, and I tried them on right away—decidedly tight and stiff. But then, the boots were very cold. Also, I was unaccustomed to having a shoe fit snug around my ankle. I decided to just wear them around the house over the weekend and then try and make a decision by Monday. After 2 days of wearing around the house (and I have a house full of children, and I work full time, so the weekends are my time to get all household organization and cooking accomplished—so this wasn’t a “sit on the sofa and sip tea” sort of trial run), the boots were decidedly becoming more comfortable. I’m a size 7.5 medium in every shoe I have ever encountered, and that is what I bought in these boots. I wear knee high compression socks and the fabric is on the thin side. These boots don’t really breathe so your feet will get damp if you tend toward sweaty feet— you may want to use a very absorbent wool blend sock. My first day at work with my new boots, I brought along my Sanita clogs, which I’ve been wearing daily for years, just in case my feet started to hurt. I was also wearing, as usual, my compression socks. I didn’t need to switch shoes and I was on my feet from 6:30am until 3:30pm until I got in my car for the trek home. I just got back from a business trip and I didn’t want to have to bring a larger suitcase by packing my boots, so I just wore them through the airport, on the plane, etc. No problems. It was amazing. I also had a stash of bandaids in my purse just in case my heels got a bit too rubbed— in the clogs, your heels don’t really touch the back of the shoe—but I haven’t used a single one. I think in another week, I’ll be able to put a thin pair of wool socks over my compression socks if I think I need extra warmth, as the boots are definitely stretching out a bit. I recommend buying these boots and taking the time to protect the condition of the boot while breaking them in a bit to see if they will work for you. Wearing them around the house made a big difference. The arch support is moderate—I have a high arch and usually need a lot of support—but so far, these boots have been sufficient for keeping my feet happy.

I work on the water and these boots take a beating. I only need to replace them once a year because I am so tough on them. Any other boot I have bought only lasts 4-5 months. Great fit, comfortable, and long lasting.

I wear these boots daily for everything I do, from mowing the lawn to doing construction on my house to wearing them around my office job. Feet are comfortable, great support in the arch, and steady grip for even the wettest conditions.
